It is never too late for our Shepherd to deliver us from the lion’s mouth, even if there is not much of our lives left in us.
On our own, we are no match for the devil. He is behind all the turmoil in our world as he wreaks havoc with wars and diseases, with hatred and jealousies, with everything negative.

Yet his favorite targets are the children of God. He “…walketh about… seeking…” and when he identifies a sheep straying or separated from the fellowship of the other saints of God, he pounces on that person and begins to wear away at their zeal for the Lord, luring them, enticing them, manipulating them mentally and emotionally, and ultimately wearing them down until he devours their faith in God. They become easy prey through a lack of prayer, Bible study, worship, forsaking the assembling with other saints, compromising…

But I declare to you today, that even though he may tear away at their faith, if there is anything left of them, the Good Shepherd will fight for what has remained of them and will put them back together again!!!

Jesus Himself declares in Matthew 18: 11-13, “For the Son of man is come to save that which was lost. How think ye? if a man have an hundred sheep, and one of them be gone astray, doth he not leave the ninety and nine, and goeth into the mountains, and seeketh that which is gone astray? And if so be that he find it, verily I say unto you, he rejoiceth more of that sheep, than of the ninety and nine which went not astray."

You may have wandered away from the foal, and your life may be shattered into a thousand pieces, but God still remains. He is still here for you. He still searches after you; He is still seeking for you… He will leave the ninety and nine just to come looking for you!!!

In your hands, the broken pieces of your life may have no value, but in God’s hands, in the hands of the Creator, they are the building blocks of a new life in Christ Jesus!!!

Relationships that are from God will generally make you into a better person. These relationships will lift you up; they will raise your moral and spiritual standards, they will affect your attitude, your speech and your lifestyle positively. If you find that these things are on a decline in your life, then you need to reassess your relationships and see where they are coming from. Jesus Himself warns us in John 10:10, “The thief comes not but for to steal, to kill and to destroy…” That does not only apply to our spiritual lives but to every other area as well. Identify where the devil is trying to infiltrate our lives, undermining our life choices and ultimately our relationship with God. Let’s be alert and make the right choices.

Abraham, the great father of nations, demonstrated the type of faith that God is looking for in His children, more so in fathers.

To all fathers, may your steps be guided by the Lord as you teach your children, as you command them to keep the way of the Lord, to walk in obedience to Him.

From the Pastor, leadership and members of His Hands Extended Ministries, we wish all fathers a Happy Father's Day. Have a blessed day in the Presence of God and with your families.

To those who may be facing the loss of a father, a child/children or even a spouse, we pray that the Spirit of God will comfort and strengthen your hearts today, and every day 🙏🏻

HAPPY FATHER'S DAY!

1 John 3: 8ii – "For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil."

The above Scripture is one of the most powerful verses in the entire New Testament. At this time of year, we commemorate and celebrate Jesus’s crucifixion and resurrection. But why did Jesus come?

The Old Testament is filled with types and shadows that foreshadow events, people, or objects that are fulfilled in the New Testament, more so in the life of Jesus Christ. Types and shadows progressively point towards God’s redemptive work that was ultimately realized by the Person of Jesus Christ.

Join us for this Resurrection Sunday's powerful word by Pastor Nefa Deonath entitled, “Who Do You Say I Am”. We wish you and your family a Holy and Blessed Resurrection Day in the Glorious Presence of God ✝️ 🙏🏻

Very often, Hosanna is thought of as a declaration of praise, similar to hallelujah. But Hosanna is actually a plea for salvation. Its literal meaning is “I beg you to save!” or “please deliver us!”

As Jesus rode the donkey into Jerusalem, the crowd shouted “Hosanna!” It was a cry for salvation and recognition of the fact that Jesus is able to save! It was a cry of joy that their long-awaited Messiah and King had come.

The people were crying out for Jesus to save them!

They were crying out for Jesus to deliver them!
..and that’s exactly why Jesus came! Within a week, Jesus would be hanging on a cross for the sins of the world.

But thank God it did not end there because on the third day, Jesus rose triumphantly from the dead!!!

Today, we don't have to wave palm branches to shout Hosanna. Open your hands and see that God has placed palms in your hands!!! Let us lift our hands and wave our palms to God in worship and adoration to our Lord and King, as we cry out to Him for our world:

Hosanna - Lord, save us...

Hosanna - Lord, deliver us...

Hosanna - Lord, deliver us Your children from a lack of passion for souls. Help us to cry unto You for our world; the world You came and died for.

We cry out to You, Yeshua, our Savior, our Redeemer, "Hosanna... Hosanna..."

Philippians 3:13-14 - "Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus."

This past year we may not have accomplished everything we desired to do, but let us not dwell on the past but focus on what God has in store for us. Paul urges us to press toward the mark - it takes effort to press, it takes determination to press. Pressing implies not giving up nor giving in, but rather pursuing until we accomplish our goals. For this new year, let us pursue our goals with determination, pressing towards the destiny that God has called us to regardless of the challenges we may face along the way. Our God is more than able to see us to the end!!!

Isaiah 43:16, 18-19 declares,“This is what the LORD says - He who made a way through the sea, a path through the mighty waters, “Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.”

As you make a conscious choice to walk according to the Word of God, may you have a blessed 2023 in the Presence of the Lord as He fulfills His purpose in you...

His Hands Extended Ministries Int'l wishes you and yours a Happy and Holy 2023!

1 John 3:17-18 "But whoso hath this world's good, and seeth his brother have need, and shutteth up his bowels of compassion from him, how dwelleth the love of God in him? My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth."

His Hands Extended Ministries Int'l expresses sincere thanks to those who contributed to our Christmas food hamper and clothing drive this year. No pictures will be posted on Social Media but will be sent to those who contributed. We pray God's blessings upon you and your families as you continue to walk according to His Holy Word.

Luke 1:26-31, 37-38

Today, as we recognize and celebrate the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ, I challenge you to declare like Mary, in Verse 38 of our text, "Behold the handmaid of the Lord; be it unto me according to thy word..."

Please follow the link below for this powerful word entitled, "I Give Myself Away", understanding that "giving yourself away" entails surrendering yourself to a goal or a purpose, or in this case, surrendering yourself absolutely, TOTALLY, COMPLETELY unto God and His purpose (ALL of you, no holding back)

Phillipians 4:1-9 "Therefore, my beloved and longed-for brethren, my joy and crown, so stand fast in the Lord, beloved. I implore Euodia and I implore Syntyche to be of the same mind in the Lord. And I urge you also, true companion, help these women who labored with me in the gospel, with Clement also, and the rest of my fellow workers, whose names are in the Book of Life. Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say, rejoice! Let your gentleness be known to all men. The Lord is at hand. Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy — meditate on these things. The things which you learned and received and heard and saw in me, these do, and the God of peace will be with you." Virtual Prayer Meeting

1 Timothy 2:1-3 "I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour"

As our beautiful twin-island Republic of Trinidad & Tobago celebrates its 60th Independence Anniversary today, may each of us be reminded that, regardless of political persuasion or any differences that make us unique as a people, we are called to pray for our leaders, "for this is good and acceptable in the sight of God..." May God bless our nation of many creed and races ✝️🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

Bridging the Gulf

Psalm 34:8 - "O taste and see that the Lord is good"

There are many gulfs in the world today (62 according to a Google search). The Gulf of Mexico, located in the Atlantic Ocean, is the largest and deepest gulf; but I submit to you today, that the greatest gulf in all of humanity is not the one found in the Atlantic Ocean... the greatest gulf in all of humanity is the one that lies between Almighty God and man!

Join us today for this powerful and challenging word from Pastor Nefa Deonath entitled, "Bridging the Gulf"

We preach powerful sermons; we are on point in ministering to situations that people are currently going through. But sometimes, the sermons preached cause them to view life through ‘rose tinted glasses’; we minister to their feelings more than to their faith! They are emotionally stirred up during the services, feeling that everything is possible, which indeed they can be! Yet we all know there are times when they do not get the answers to their problems, they do not get solutions to their dilemma right away, and when they leave the services, or the four walls of the church building, they are still faced with their situations, they still return to the stresses and stressors of life. If answers do not come within the time frame we’ve led them to believe and expect, they are thrust back into the same old feelings of hopelessness, despair and discouragement.

As ministers, we must ensure that we do not only preach powerful sermons to stir people emotionally, but we give them a solid foundation! We must ensure that we give them the tools they need to strategize, to plan, to find solutions, and to execute their plans and solutions; help them understand how to stay the course of remaining in the faith while they are trusting God to help them work through their situations and circumstances. And if they do not get the answers they are believing for, to trust God… still…

The Lord's Prayer (Matthew 6:9-15) Part 3

Matthew 6:13 "And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen."

John 3:1-6 "There was a man of the Pharisees, named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews: The same came to Jesus by night, and said unto him, Rabbi, we know that thou art a teacher come from God: for no man can do these miracles that thou doest, except God be with him. Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born? Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit."

Happy Indian Arrival Day to the East Indian community of Trinidad and Tobago!!! May we remember our forefathers who came before us 🇹🇹 🇮🇳 ⛵

Today marks the 177th anniversary since our fore-fathers began their migration from India to the Caribbean on the Fatel Razack as indentured laborers. But nothing happens by chance; for 177 years ago God orchestrated a plan to have me right where I am today... right smack in the center of His divine purpose and destiny. Aren't we glad that the providence of God uses both the good and the bad to fulfill HIS purposes? The challenges our fore-fathers encountered only served to catapult us to our destiny.

In Genesis 50:19-20, Joseph looked at his brothers, who had wrongfully sold him into slavery and declared unto them, "Fear not: for am I in the place of God? ...as for you, ye thought evil against me; BUT GOD MEANT IT UNTO GOOD…" Joseph recognized that GOD had been WITH him through it all!!!

Today, as we, the descendants of indentured laborers, look back, let it not be with sadness, bitterness or resentment; rather let it be in celebration of the knowledge that we are where God has designed us to be. Let us rise up, shake the dust off, lift our heads and enjoy walking in the beauty of our destiny, knowing that
- The past does not have to dictate our future…
- The past does not determine our destiny… .. but rather let us embrace the past because it has propelled us to our future and our destiny that shines bright with beauty, hope and purpose in the glory of God!!!

1 Corinthians 6:19-20 - "What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's."

In the Old Testament, the temple was the place where God's Holy Presence dwelt. It was the very heart, the pulse beat of Israel's religious and spiritual practices. Yet, when King Solomon built the temple, God had a WIDER purpose for it. The temple was to serve as an attractive force to the other nations of the earth (1Kings 8:41-43).

As Solomon dedicated the temple, he recognized this purpose, he knew that it was to be used to draw the 'stranger' unto the Lord Most High that they will know His Name and fear Him, and they will know that the Lord is God and that there is none else!

Paul, in writing to the Church, is saying that when we dedicate our lives unto Jesus, our bodies become the temple of God, the place where God's Holy Presence dwells. We are to recognize and demonstrate that wider purpose by being a GOOD example of the love, the mercy, the holiness; the very characteristics of God. Our purpose is to be an ATTRACTIVE force to the other nations, the other people groups around us. Are we?

Nehemiah 8:10“The JOY of the Lord IS YOUR STRENGTH!!!”

Many people think happiness and joy are the same, but they are not. They are both wonderful feelings, and are often used interchangeably, but they are very different. Happiness is a temporary feeling that is based on emotions, on external stimuli:

How can you be happy when you are going through so much pain…
How can you be happy when you’ve lost so much and your world seems to be falling apart around you...

It’s difficult, because happiness is dependent on circumstances, and these negative circumstances can lead to stress, despair, sadness, depression, substance abuse, etc. This is because your happiness is dependent on these external stimuli.

JOY, on the other hand, is more consistent. It is a lasting state of well-being that is deeply rooted on the inside, internally! It is NOT dependent on external stimuli or circumstances. Happiness is a feeling that’s centered around circumstances, but joy is an attitude, a confidence that defies circumstances! We seek to find happiness in our circumstances, but you can have joy in spite of your circumstances!

Do not allow the devil or external circumstances to steal your joy, because that joy is the very thing that’s gonna give you your strength, it’s gonna give you your praise and your worship in spite of the storms of life!!!

“The joy of the Lord IS YOUR strength”. In spite of everything, do not lose your joy! Guard your joy! Guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus!

Matthew 27:45-51 (Selective verses) - Now from the sixth hour there was darkness over all the land unto the ninth hour. And about the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani? that is to say, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me? Jesus, when he had cried again with a loud voice, yielded up the ghost. And, behold, the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom…"

“…the veil of the temple was rent in twain…” – God has already torn apart the veil and brought us direct access to Him through the atoning blood of Jesus Christ, our High Priest. Yet, there are things in our lives that act as veils and keep us from the Presence of a Holy and Righteous God. It’s about time we rise up and pull the veils down! Tear down the veils and bring up the Presence of God in your life, in your family, in your home…

Join us for this Resurrection Sunday’s powerful word by Pastor Nefa Deonath entitled, “Living Beyond The Veil”. We wish you and your family a Holy and Blessed Resurrection Sunday…
