People always say I'm so lucky because I can afford to travel. The truth is anyone can afford to travel. Your deposit on a trip can be equivalent of a Starbucks Venti drink for a month. I'm not lucky I just choose to invest in experiences. 📸: My Google photo albums from the past year I've been a lot of places and seen a lot of faces, shared some cool stories, and collected a few. October 30th - November 2nd if there's one thing I love equally as travel it's music. When I get to combine them together, that's kismet.

I had the pleasure of visiting the Bahamas earlier this year. It is heart breaking and devastating to see the pictures and hear the news of all the destruction that has occurred. As a travel community I encourage us all to do what we can to support them in the aftermath of this storm. Thoughts and prayers are great, but if you have gently used closed, pantry items, feminine hygiene products, baby formula. The everyday needs of people that you can donate or purchase and donate please do. There are several relief efforts already organizing. I would suggest working with a local effort in your community or an organization you are already familiar with.

Earlier this year I had the pleasure of visiting Cuba. Did you know you can still travel to Cuba? Yes, you heard me right. You can still travel to Cuba under “support for the Cuban people” category, individuals can travel to Cuba, but they must have an itinerary with "meetings" and visits with local business owners, artists or others. They must plan on participating in local activities. Lucky for you I have a travel partner who have great packages to offer so that you too can experience the beauty and culture of Cuba.

I'll be honest, I have only successfully traveled with two people without any issues my sister and ATL bestie. Finding someone with similar travel style is kind of like dating and can make or break a trip. But I do love group travel where I have option to do my own thing and join in group activities. Travel has been a passion of mines for as long as I can remember. I got my first passport at the ripe old age of 3 and never looked back.
