Lower Back Pain: How to Assess, Work-up (Diagnose), and Plan (Treat) 18/04/2022

Check out this video where we will look at how to clinically approach the patient who comes to YOUR clinic with reports of lower back pain (a common complaint in the primary care setting). The approach is simple. Assess personal information for characteristics associated with nature, quality, onset, triggers of pain, and RED Flags to discern between infection vs. inflammation vs. degenerative changes vs. trauma causes (etiologies). We objectify our physical assessment to support a diagnosis and a plan. We don't image patients with lower back unless RED FLAGs are present. See the video to get more scoop.
