A customer that we were recommended too was not happy with there original new build garden (Original garden was on a slope and wasn’t usable) so here at cjs we fully transformed it!

• Reduced garden levels to form a flat usable area and compacted
• Installed electric ducting ready for there outside electrics
• Dug footings for retaining walls and poured footings/built retaining walls
• Layed and compacted stone for slab areas
• Layed customers choice of slabs (natural indian sandstone slabs)
• Pointed in slabs with a grey colour chosen by customer
• Applied porcelain cladding to the retaining walls to create some feature
• Applied grey copings to the retaining walls to create a nice flush finish to the walls
• Installed artificial grass of customers choice to an area of there garden

Hey guys! Sorry for the lack of posts recently, the team at CJS are as busy as ever but we have loads of projects to share with you

A nice job we done for stage coach Paignton, a Armco barrier system with shock absorbing posts to stop the buses from hitting the workshop in their tight compound, stage coach wanted this completed but needed to carry on operating as usual so we done this on a night shift to ensure everything ran smoothly for everyone

Another quality job completed for Gliddon Ford in Brixham

Due to their work load and reputation of selling cars, the old wash bag they used to valet cars was no longer big enough to keep up with the cars coming in and out. So gliddon ford got hold of CJS knowing we could do something bigger and better

We started off by taking down a old fence line to give them more room as there was another fence line about 2 meters behind
Removed a load of small trees and put them through a wood chipper
Cleared all rubbish that got chucked behind the fence after many years
Tidied up the fence behind by pulling of all the unwanted ivy
Pinned out the base to find the centre for the gully
Located existing drainage and correctly connected the gully to the the storm line
Reduce 250mm of subsoil out to put 100mm of 803 in leaving us with 150mm of concrete
Put shuttering in ready for concrete And laid mesh in just before concrete
And concreted the 7m x 7m pad in the two halves so we could get a nice finish on the new pad
Then got some new chippings to spread across the yard to make good and we was left with one happy customer as always👍🏼

Another job will be starting very shortly for Gliddon Ford so that will posted soon

A Driveway extension we completed last week in Paignton, a unusable space turned into a much more practical area and far less maintenance needed.

Quick turnaround and very pleased customers

We apologise there hasn’t been much activity on our page recently, we have been snowed under with many projects and developments on the go

With this customers garden being next to a recent new build completion, they was left with a Unsightly and a not so usable front garden and with new builds having such limited parking spots, they chose to have a extra parking spot in installed at the front of the garden and left us to the rest to design and build, the end results speak for themselves and and the customers words were “ it’s totally transformed the look and usability of my garden” the customers couldn’t have been anymore pleased with the work, the work also resulted in a neighbour just down the road having a similar job done which I’ll be posting shortly so keep your eyes peeled!

A project at yelverton we completed for a new contractor a couple weeks back.. a foul drainage line diversion, a big muckshift and a new site road, joining onto the A386 3 weeks work from start to finish leaving the developer very happy..
