Today, my real estate career and teaching career collided. Recently, I reconnected with a former GRC student who was thinking of buying his first house. He wanted to look in Frankfort, so we found a couple of houses there that met his criteria and scheduled showings for this evening. The houses we found were located less than a mile from Franklin County High School, which is where I started my teaching career 11 years ago.
Today was truly a great day and one that I will remember for a long time. Hopefully, this was the first of many experiences like this with former students.
