Electricity is back and we will reopen again from Monday the 28th.
In the meantime, I would like to say that I am very sorry once again to all the customers who came to our store while we were closed unintentionally and to the customers who personally sent us DM messages. We will serve either onion rings or soft drinks to all customers who come from Monday to Sunday next week.

Hi, this is Soul's Toast on July 1st we will be having a CRAZY DJ EVENT with DJ Funky Wizard in front of the restaurant. Come by and enjoy our sandwhiches and some tunes! We also will be open the first Monday on the 3rd of July. We will instead close on July 10th on the second Monday.

* Victoria public market (Starting this Friday, every Friday (19th), 11am-6pm)

🥪 From May 1st, we will start selling our signature sauces, Kiwi Sauce and Spicy Sauce, again.
🥪 Shop operating hours will change from tomorrow.
Monday through Sunday, 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
The store is closed on the first Monday of each month.

Currently, the new store has added several options that are different from the previous store, and we will continue to update it in the future.
1. Meal menu has been added for each sandwich.
2. We decided to sell non-alcoholic beer as a beverage as it is the best match with Soul's Toast. (Don't worry about driving haha)

It's been a while since I've posted.
In the meantime, something unexpected happened and we were unable to open a store in Nanaimo.
I'm sorry to those who have been looking forward to it, especially to the Nanaimo community.
Instead we found a new Soul's Toast location. It must be a completely unexpected place haha. And the setup is almost done. I was going to open on March 1st, but something happened in Korea, so I think I'll have to go again for about a month.
That's why we open a new Soul's Toast in early April. Thank you for your interest.

Soul's Toast Owner, Soul.
I finally gave my keys yesterday and permanently closed Soul's Toast Chemainus.
Just before the store opened, my mother suddenly passed away and the opening was delayed, so it finally opened on April 7, 2020 and has been running for a year and a half. My heart was very heavy with such a great sense of frustration and loss, but the people of the Chemainus community looked at me with unbelievably warm gaze and helped me a lot, so I endured it and managed it until now.
Soul's Toast was born in Chemainus, and although it is a small and small shop, we will do our best to make a big contribution to society by making the brand Soul's famous and bigger.
No matter where we go and start over, please always watch the Soul's brand with warm gaze.
Thank you for protecting my mother in heaven. I love you so much.

Yesterday at the Cowichan craft beer & food festival, many customers tried our toast, so we sold out again.
As we were constantly making food, the power of the generator caused machines 2 or 3 to stop working, but we did our best to make it.
The food was delayed and the service was delayed, but again, thank you very much to the many customers who waited without complaint.
Thank you very much to everyone involved in the Cowichan craft beer & food festival who invited us and gave us a lot of support.

Finally, on April 7th, it is the one year anniversary of our opening.
So, I was thinking about what I could do to the community as a commemoration, and I decided to donate 100 Souls Toasts to Nanaimo Salvation Army, so I made all of them this morning and sent them.
When I made 98, there was a sudden power outage, so I was embarrassed, but fortunately, I made two more and sent 100 full. I hope many of you had an enjoyable meal. The road is the direction I want to go in doing business and the belief I want to share. Please give more attention and love~
And since April 8, the cost of food and supplies has risen so much that it is difficult to keep up with the cost, so we have decided to raise the price of each toast by $1. The side menu and other drinks are the same. Thank you for your understanding.

Finally, this Sunday, from 10am to Sold Out, we will be having our last pop-up shop at Duncan CVI Restaurant Patio.

This is Duncan, the last itinerary of this pop-up shop. The size of the pop-up shop has grown as it has already received big support from the famous pub and lounge CVI restaurant in Duncan. The date is Sunday, April 10th. Hours are 10am to Sold Out. During the two pop-up shops, I felt very sorry for the customers who just sat in front of the store or just stood there eating. So this time, with the support of CVI, we plan to open a pop-up shop on the patio of the beautiful and large CVI.
Above all, this time, you can enjoy a collaboration with Soul's Toast and CVI's various drink menus.
As the scale has grown, we hope that not only Duncan's guests but also many people on the island will try it.
