After forty days Noah opened the window he had made in the ark
and sent out a raven, and it kept flying back and forth until the water had dried up from the earth.
Then he sent out a dove to see if the water had receded from the surface of the ground.
But the dove could find no place to set its feet because there was water over all the surface of the earth; so it returned to Noah in the ark. He reached out his hand and took the dove and brought it back to himself in the ark.
He waited seven more days and again sent out the dove from the ark.
When the dove returned to him in the evening, there in its beak was a freshly plucked olive leaf! Then Noah knew that the water had receded from the earth.
He waited seven more days and sent the dove out again, but this time it did not return to him.
By the first day of the first month of Noah's six hundred and first year, the water had dried up from the earth. Noah then removed the covering from the ark and saw that the surface of the ground was dry.
By the twenty-seventh day of the second month the earth was completely dry.

| Mental Illness - Prison Of The Mind | | |

Sickness of the mind tortures so many of us. Imprisoning us in a place where it is dark, lonely, and of constant hurt. We might not be able to see our wardens, but they are real and cause great fear, because there is no set day when we can meet our bond and be set free. But I know of a great person that holds the keys. Who brings healing, breaks down the prison doors, comforts us, and heals our pain. Mental illness has been around since Jesus' time. It is in the Bible of young men having demons in them, scaring everyone around them, being ostracized, speaking of depression, and throwing themselves purposely in the fire to hurt themselves. Sound familiar? Not much has changed, but just science. Jesus releases these demons, and he can release ours. Have faith, wait patiently, open your heart, and feel freedom. Joy is around the corner.

And when they came to the crowd, a man came up to him and, kneeling before him, said, “Lord, have mercy on my son, for he has seizures and he suffers terribly. For often he falls into the fire, and often into the water.
