Looking at this pile of earrings I am working on to take to Little Shop on Main (and the La Casa Bazaar) and thinking - you can really tell by my earrings that I live in Mew Mexico!

Guess where I was? The car temperature reading wasn’t even the highest of the day 😓. Bluebonnets went almost as far west as Big Spring, although they did get more dry looking that far west. The flowers were gorgeous along the interstate though!

Beautiful walks this week out in the desert. My goes crazy out there!

Quick trip to Tucson. Love the saguaro cacti and the winter weather there! I need to work on getting in better shape. Getting to the top of this hill/mountain for this view of Tucson was not fun. The deer were fun, and it was worth it for the view. Nice shrine at the bottom too. Last pics are from a cool rest stop on I10 in Az.

If you are in El Paso, I’d highly recommend a stop at the Little Shack restaurant. Yummy basket of three fish tacos each for two, one beer, and two deserts (scroll for the mouthwatering flan and huge piece of tres leches cake) with unlimited chips and their unique salsa for only $30 and change pre tip. Amazing quality for the price!

Gorgeous view from the Aztec Cave Trail in the Franklin Mountains in El Paso on a perfect winter day. Scroll for a picture of a blackened ceiling so often seen in caves around here, a remnant of cave tenants from a previous era; a picture of the cave from relatively close; and finally a picture that shows more how high the cave trail went. I used to be better at hiking, I am feeling the need to get into better shape!
