Small Batch #5 are brown/tan Richardson unstructured caps. These fit amazing for the folks that aren’t looking for a structured trucker hat.

The last few weekends have been good! Wind was 15-25mph at CCC Shooting Complex but Shelby Case took 47th out of 199 shooters at the Leupold Best in Texas 2-day pro match.
Then he followed up this past weekend with a 2nd place finish at the regional one day Anderson Outlaw Match!

Congrats to all, especially to KPR shooters Shelby Case & Casey Quimby!! Shelby shot Top Mil/LEO and 3rd overall and Casey was right there rounding out the top 5!!

It was pretty quiet this past weekend in the PRS shooting world but there was a remarkable club match that took place in Pioneer, Louisiana. "Back to the Basics" LPRC held over 50 shooters competing for a top spot. An expected stomach flu hit Brian Allen who was the match director for this match the Friday before the range went hot. With well-thought-out planning in anticipation of catching this bug, everything was ready to go come match day but someone still had to be present. As everyone would expect from the PRS community several people stepped up to ensure the match flow ran smoothly, which it did. We want to thank all the range officers who made sure the course of fire was safe and well-balanced. Congratulations to all the shooters below who walked away with a top finish!

As much as we really enjoy precision bolt rifles, lever actions are becoming some of our favorites! Marlin does a great job with these. Adding Midwest accessories with a touch of Cerakote color really puts them over the top!

Accuracy is how well-centered your group is. At long range this depends on: your zero, and the fire solution that you apply on top of your zero being correct in the sense that it centers your group on target.

Typical issues with accuracy at long range are:
* Modeling the wrong MV, BC, range or atmosphere in your fire solution
* Bad zero and/or a scope that doesn't track or isn't level
* Inaccurately assessed wind

Precision is characterized through consistency. Consistency keeps your group small by minimizing variation in muzzle velocity and BC from shot to shot. Examples of consistency issues resulting in groups spreading out at long range include:
* MV variation - Ammo effect
* BC variation - Ammo effect
* Poor inherent/mechanical precision at 100 yards - Rifle effect

Hitting targets at long range is all about tightening up these elements of accuracy and precision.
