If you’re fascinated by the paranormal, 30 East Drive in Pontefract is a location you need to know about. After spending an incredible day climbing Pendle Hill (also known as Witch Mountain), I was lucky enough to visit this infamous house alongside John Beamson.

Known as one of the most haunted houses in England, 30 East Drive gained notoriety in the 1960s for its terrifying poltergeist activity. The house is said to be home to "The Black Monk," a spirit responsible for violent and eerie occurrences that continue to chill visitors to this day.

From objects moving on their own to unexplained noises and even physical attacks, the reports from this house are spine-tingling. 30 East Drive has been the focus of documentaries, books, and numerous investigations, cementing its status as a paranormal hotspot.

As the moonlight bathes the fields near Glastonbury, a spectral figure known as the Woman in White is said to wander, her ghostly presence sending shivers down the spines of those who encounter her. The Woman in White is believed to be the spirit of a young woman who tragically lost her life in the area. Some say she was a bride to be, jilted at the altar, and now eternally searches for her lost love. Others believe she was a victim of a terrible accident, her restless spirit unable to find peace.

Witnesses have reported seeing a luminous, white clad figure drifting through the misty fields and along the pathways near the Glastonbury Tor. Some claim to have felt an icy chill or heard soft, mournful wails in the dead of night.

The sightings often occur during the summer solstice and around the time of the Glastonbury Festival, adding an eerie allure to the festivities.
