My name is Debbie Martin. I have been an involved community member of Homer School District 33C for the past 27 years. My commitment to the students, staff, and community has never wavered. I am eager to continue to contribute to the growth and success of our district.
As an educator and active School Board Member, I have always been dedicated to providing the best possible education to our students while being fiscally responsible. As a district leader, I will continue to be approachable, flexible, and open-minded to the needs of the community.
Over the years, I have worked collaboratively with colleagues on the school board to make difficult decisions about staffing, curriculum, grade-level changes and building upgrades. The progress we have made as a district comes through thoughtful and informed discussions with input from all stakeholders.
As we move forward, our school district will face new changes and opportunities. We need experienced leaders who can successfully oversee a quality education, including mental health, equity, and inclusion. I am deeply committed to this vision for all students.
I believe our schools are the future of this community. I would be honored to continue as a Board Member in Homer 33C.
