Hello Chelford and friends of Chelford. What can we say…..the event yesterday was a MASSIVE SUCCESS!! We are overwhelmed by the support from the community and wish to thank each of you for turning up even when the weather forecast wasn’t the best! It’s safe to say that everyone had an amazing day and it was lovely to see so many familiar faces ☺️
The smiling faces, happy dances and general buzz made all the hard work totally worth it!

Chelford Scout Hall for the use of their hall and for hosting a stall.

All the volunteers who helped on the day with the entrance gate, the teas and coffees, the tombola and the races. We cannot tell you how much we appreciated your help and couldn’t have done it without you 😇

James Gordon and Rick Okill and team for providing and cooking the food which again was a massive hit as well as running the much needed bar! 🍺🍷🍔🌭

All the stall holders who provided guests with a chance to shop and showcase their wonderful businesses! You added so much to the event and each year the stalls get better and better 🛍️

Enchanting Faces for brightening up the faces (literally!) of the lovely children of Chelford - I’ve never seen such fantastic art work on faces before! 🎨

Lower Moss Wood Nature Reserve & Wildlife Hospital for having a stall and bringing their fabulous owls! I think it’s safe to say they were an absolute hoot 🦉😉

And finally, to all the fantastic people who attended yesterday! Without you guys we cannot put on events and we really do need every single one of you to come along and support the events in the village to keep the community spirit going! If these events don’t continue, they will be missed but we need the members of Chelford village to attend so a huge thank you goes out to those that came along, it truly means the world 🥰🫶🏻

All of the proceeds from today will go towards future events for the village. We are a not for profit organisation run by volunteers and aim to put on fun activities for the village.

On to the next event…..perhaps an evening do for the adults in a few months time….🥳

Take care of yourselves and one another, we are very lucky to live in this special village ❤️

We are looking for new members to join the committee to help plan events for the village. If you want to join, please email us on [email protected]. We are planning on putting together a sub committee just for the village fete day (as it involves a bit more work) so if you are solely interested in this one event, please also contact us to discuss further.

Sunday 9th June - further details to be released nearer the time!

We will need help leading up to the event with organising it and also help on the day with setting up and helping run stalls etc. if anyone is able to offer assistance at all, please do get in touch!

Also - if anyone would like a stall on the day or to run an event or something, please contact us!

Don’t forget there is a free health and well being event on tomorrow at Wilmslow Leisure Centre!

Don’t forget we’ve got the village Easter trail on Easter Sunday! There is the local church service on before this but there’s enough time to do the trail as well! Pop along to The Hub from 11am!

We are at it again! We will be putting on an Easter trail for the village on Easter Sunday starting at The Hub 🐣

The wonderful Paragon Pilates offer a seated Pilates class on Thursdays in their Chelford Studio. It’s a great place to meet new people and keep mobile! If you’re interested or know of anyone who might benefit from it, please contact Charlotte on the details below!

🍾 it’s bring your own booze on Saturday so don’t forget to bring your own cups and bottle openers too! You will also be able to purchase mulled wine to get into the festive spirit
