The good news is that we've found tickets to Burning Man, the festival where our project started. The bad news is that it will be our very last gig. We will send off the Infaders in style by parading to the temple, then leaving our rocket shells there to be fired off into space during the temple burn on Sunday. (Don't worry, well take the batteries and electronics out) The day of the final parade is still TBD. Come look us up in Camp Fuego if you're in Black Rock City. Otherwise, we want to thank you for dancing all these years. It's been an unforgettable blast. Watch this space for footage of the last launch!

We've just registered for STEP, Burning Man's ticket exchange program and our last chance to make it to Black Rock City... Then Aura Gold pictured us already there, rocking our backpacks at maximum speed. Thanks, Aura, you're Gold! Let's hope the playa provides...

***WANTED: BURNING MAN TICKETS***
As you may know, we launched the Infaders on Burning Man 2010. Seven years on, we'll be on our way down from Oregon Eclipse 2017 with our beloved rocket-shaped speakers packed in a van and ready to blow away Burners with our walking surprise party.
We'd love to return to the playa and celebrate our 7 year anniversary at our dusty birthplace, collaborating with other theme camps and amplifying other roaming art projects.
So today, four of us, Walter, Niels, Floor and Alexander had registered for the ticket sales and queued up for tickets. Alas, none of us managed to get through the queue and all the 30.000 mainsale tickets are now sold out. Bummer!
But there's still a chance... there might be people out there that have bought spare tickets just in case a friend needed one. People fall ill or change plans. And that's when they can nominate someone else (one of us, hopefully!) to sell their ticket.
That's why we are reaching out to our friends. If you know anyone selling a Burning Man ticket, then pretty please think of the Infaders. And we will happily gift you a vibe voucher: loads of loudness at a time&place of your liking 3:-)

Bring & swing pillows, make & break beats, donate & freight blankets

PILLOWS FOR AMSTERDAM, BLANKETS FOR CALAIS

On the 1st of April everyone brings their pillow to the Dam. This year we’re asking everyone to also bring their spare BLANKETS and SLEEPING BAGS for refugees in Northern France.

On Saturday 8th of April we’ll take them to refugees who are camping out in the cold near Calais and Paris, many of whom are minors.

So please ask around if your housemate/parents/aunt/grandpa/neighbour has a spare sleeping bag or blanket they wish to donate.

We’ll collect these blankets during the Pillow Fight, in front of the lion statue near the Bijenkorf shopping centre. There you can give us your email address so that you can follow where the blankets end up.

KUSSENS VOOR AMSTERDAM, DEKENS VOOR CALAIS

Op 1 april neemt iedereen zijn kussen mee naar de Dam. Dit jaar willen we jullie vragen om ook DEKENS en SLAAPZAKKEN mee te brengen voor de vluchtelingen in Noord-Frankrijk.

Op zaterdag 8 april nemen we ze mee naar de (vaak minderjarige) vluchtelingen die rond Calais en Parijs in barre omstandigheden kamperen.

Vraag dus je huisgenoten/ouders/tante/opa/buurvrouw of ze nog een slaapzak of deken over hebben om te doneren.

Tijdens het kussengevecht staan wij bij het leeuwenstandbeeld naast de Bijenkorf om in te zamelen. Er bestaat dan ook de mogelijkheid je emailadres achter te laten zodat je kan volgen waar de dekens terechtkomen.

Dank jullie allemaal bij voorbaat voor je moeite, met jullie donaties kunnen we een heleboel mensen helpen!

Our friend Sven has left the building. We will miss him dearly. To honour him we will take to the Underground to make one minute of noise. Join us for the blast-off he deserves, right after ADEV 2016: Dans dwars door de stad!
