This is why I am proud to be a Shriner and why Graham Wind Flags supports Shriners Children’s whenever we can.

Did you know this statue, seen at all Shriners Children’s locations and many Shriners International buildings, is based on a news photo taken at a picnic over 50 years ago? The statue is called the Editorial Without Words.

The story goes back to a Hadi Shriners picnic more than 50 years ago in Evansville, Indiana, where a Shriner named Al Hortman picked up little Bobbi Jo Wright, a patient at Shriners Children’s St. Louis, and helped carry her around for the day. A Sunday Courier & Press photographer, Randy Dieter, captured this act of kindness on one of the last images on his roll of film. This photo would later inspire the creation of the iconic statue.

If you all don’t know I am Matt Spradlin. I am the “chief cook & head bottle washer” as Wilbur would always say.

We are coming into the heat of the shooting season and there are times when it takes a few days to complete your orders but rest assure we will always be burning the midnight oil to get you folks taken care of.

We still accept personal checks and US Postal Money orders as well. Please understand we will fill your order in order as they cone in but will ship only after payment has been received.

Some times it the little little things that mean the most.
My whole life growning up my father was a gunsmith and retired about 10 years ago. Well the other day he gave me the stamp he had made to mark barrels. This was made about 50 years ago.
