I think itās finally hitting me yāall. On my 3 year anniversary in the biz, Iām saying goodbye to WTOC and the news industry. It has been a rollercoaster ride! Itās so rewarding to report on important topics in the city that raised you. But as you can see in this video, a lot of those stories are heartbreaking. Journalism is such important work but it can take a toll on you. This is such a bittersweet goodbye. I owe so many of you a thank you for continuously supporting me and believing me. I did it yāall. I really became a tv news reporter and I did a dang good job at it lol. Love yāall and thank you so much for being apart of this journey with me! On to the next chapterš«¶š¼āØ

In a WTOC exclusive, I spoke with an employee at SouthCoast Health who has several concerns about their system being offline for more than two weeks. The employee says higher ups with SouthCoast have not told staff what is going on, but the employee has a good idea.
MALL BLVD. SHOOTING: A woman is in critical condition tonight after being shot at her job in broad daylight.
Savannah Police say the suspect has not been found and the shooting was not random.
Some southside Savannah residents are now questioning their safety.
ICYMI: Leilani Simon was indicted on 19 charges by a grand jury. All related to the death of her son, Quinton Simon. The charges include malice murder, felony murder and lying to police.
