Our father, the Emir of the State of Kuwait, Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, has passed away... The state suspends its work in all ministries for three days, starting from Sunday until Tuesday, and the state resumes its work on Wednesday.

A total of 82,022 overseas voters may now continue to cast their votes at the Embassy of the Philippines in Kuwait grounds for this year's Philippine National and Local Elections (NLE) 2022 from 10 April 2022 until 9 May 2022 (8am-2pm only) from 8:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M. from Sundays through Saturdays and holidays. The 30-day overseas voting period will allow registered Filipinos in Kuwait to vote for their President, Vice President, twelve (12) Senators and one (1) Party-list representative.
