I have not had the time, or the inclination to read a book cover to cover for a long time, but was away for a few days with time to chill and read this book. Growing up in the 1960’s 70’s and 80’s and living in London, loving music and clothing, it brought back hundreds of memories 😊.

On this day in SKA(Reggae)History, 50 years ago, June 5h 1972. The Harder They Come starring Jimmy Cliff premiered in Jamaica. The movie and its soundtrack would introduce Jamaica and its music to a much larger audience around the world.

We had lovely chilled out day here Yesterday , but lots of dancing and eating junk food, loads of families as well as all age groups, having a great time.

RIP singer and Actor

Dennis Waterman, star of Minder and The Sweeney, has died at the age of 74 Waterman is perhaps best known for his starring role in Minder, where he played Terry McCann for several years - going on to appear in other shows such as The Sweeney and New Tricks.

Very glad I got to see this guy, and the band perform this song live a couple times and magic times they were.
