EnVET aims at supporting professional development of educators engaged in VET

29/08/2024

As summer comes to an end, many VET students might have had the opportunity to gain valuable experience through internships. These experiences come with their own set of pros and cons. On the one hand, internships offer hands-on experience, helping students to apply their skills in real-world settings and build professional networks. On the other hand, balancing work and learning can be challenging, and not all internships offer the mentorship or structure that students might need.

The ENVET project is dedicated to enhancing vocational education by providing tools and resources to support both students and educators. Our initiatives aim to bridge the gap between classroom learning and real-world application, ensuring that students are better prepared for the challenges they face during internships and beyond. We would love to hear about your summer internship experiences! What were the highlights, and what challenges did you face? Share your thoughts in the comments below and learn how EN-VET is working to improve these experiences across Europe.
