General Burton M. Field

Burton M. Field is a United States Air Force lieutenant general.

Prior to retirement he served as the deputy chief of staff for operations, plans and requirements, Headquarters United States Air Force. Field was commissioned in 1979 after graduating from the United States Air Force Academy with a Bachelor of Science. He has commanded the 421st Fighter Squadron at Hill Air Force Base, Utah; the USAF Weapons School at Nellis AFB; the 8th Fighter Wing at Kunsan Ai

Marking a first, a team with the 728th Air Mobility Squadron held a Maintenance Supervision and Production Course in-house at Incirlik AB, Tรผrkiye. The team saved more than $200k in travel costs, allowing soon-to-be maintenance supervisors to get the training they need to advance their careers.

Meet Tech Sgts Shaylee and Nicky Reyes.

Both sharing Native American roots, the Reyes pay tribute to their rich heritage by intertwining it into their service. Shaylee is from the Shoshone-Bannock tribe located in Fort Hall, Idaho, and Nicky is from a tribe in California called Cahuilla. They both plan to return to Fort Hall to help improve the health conditions there upon completing their military service obligations.

We were privileged today to flyover the Magic Kingdom Park Disney Parks not just once, but twice! In celebration of the Air Forceโ€™s 75th birthday, and Disneyโ€™s 50th our two organizations were able to come together to inspire so many to chase their dreams.

Thank you Disney for this once in a lifetime opportunity, and for all you do for past and present military members and their families, with programs like Heroes Work Here and the employee resource group SALUTE.
