A tricep finisher with some bands. After focusing on the compound movements as a priority during the workout, focus is then shifted on to lighter isolation work. Taking everything to failure when possible.

A properly executed set. Here w/ bodybymackfit, training to failure is a major priority especially in the sense of progressive overload. Limits must be pushed. This set was taken to full mechanical failure where another clean rep could not be achieved. 1-2 sets like this is all it takes.

First, some info about our head coach.

How’s it going everyone? Just thought I’d share some info about myself as far as qualifications and experience. I’ve been a certified personal trainer through WITS for about 2 years now, doing online coaching for a similar amount of time. I specialize in hypertrophy training & macronutrient coaching to manipulate body fat and muscle mass. Also very prolific in supplementation used to aid in these goals. I’ve been studying this for about 8 years along with personal anecdotal experience through trial and error. Would love to get some more competition preps under my belt as my first client to compete won her class and received a national qualification to obtain a pro card in the IFBB, but I’m just as happy coaching lifestyle people who want to get healthy!
