I've had this yarn on my shelf for over a year... Gray and beige and tan... What was I thinking π€ I decided to make myself use it up just to reclaim the shelf space.
As I stitched this sweater together, I noticed the pattern the colors were making reminded me of smooth round river rocks. I thought of the colors I've seen in creek beds while hiking and suddenly these subtle colors weren't so boring anymore. π©Ά

Our Story
Crafting has always been a vital hobby of mine. Over the years I have created countless gifts for family and friends- but hobbies get expensive and in searching for a Mommy-friendly manner to support my crafting habit I took the plunge into the world of business and opened my Etsy shop in 2013, as well as offering my goods at craft shows and Farmer's Markets. While I have a great deal of pride in my Appalachian roots and heritage- I live and operate from the big city now, Columbus, Ohio.
I make and sell an assortment of goods including; candles, soaps, kitchen wares, home decor and accessories. Occasionally I find bargains on vintage crafting patterns and accessories too and sell those goodies as well!
When it comes to my creative process, I most often utilize supplies I already have on hand and let the materials guide the process, not always having a finished project in mind.
Iβm a one woman show right now, but not without the endless patience and support of my significant other, Mark, and my daughter, Ellie. Ellie is my biggest fan and eager apprentice, providing squeals of delight and amazement upon completion of many creative endeavors.
Crafting is something that brings me great joy, both in the making and completion of projects. Despite knowing that gauging the market is a sensible business practice, if I cannot feel passionate about a project or product, then whatβs the point? It is much more important to me to feel a sense of pride in the items I create.
As an artist, Iβm drawn toward color, not unlike the old cartoons where the characters are drawn towards a flavorful aroma. I love playing with shades and hues, carefully considering which color combos work and which donβt. I love to push the limits of how creative I can be.
When it comes to my process, it is full-on organized chaos. My supplies are often in disarray (usually from my apprentice exploring the tools of the trade~ ,) but I have a method for each project and keep my goals well organized.
Customer service is extremely important. For me, the cornerstone of customer service is
communication. I check messages regularly and will answer as many questions as necessary about my products. I treat every customer as I would want to be treated.
