Hard work paid off this weekend in Houston! After 9 games of cold, wind, and sometimes rain… the Bears finished 2nd place at the 2023 Houston Lone Star Classic Gay Softball Tournament. 🥈

Polar bears love cold weather and it showed today as we won both games (12-3 and 10-3). Next week is the last week of the fall 2022 season, and we are ready to finish strong! 🐻‍❄️🥎💙

Today’s games were canceled due to unplayable fields, so here’s a video of an actual polar bear on an actual field that was actually playable.

We went to Denver for the Rocky Mountain Roundup as the only E division team. So, after being crowned the de facto E division champions we competed in the Lower D division and finished in second place.

Congrats to an amazing group of players for sticking it out in the hot sun, high altitude, and back to back to back games to accomplish the unthinkable. 🐻‍❄️🥎❤️

After defeating the #1 seed 25-16, the ATXPBs are one game away from the championship game! Let’s go, Bears!!

We’re ready for tournament play in Denver.
