The Bakewell Christmas Sparkle event is on Sunday 27th November. It was a great success last year ( the first time it was held) and I'm sure this year will be even better. Not to be confused with Bakewell Christmas market, this is mainly indoors in the agricultural centre and there will be loads of stalls selling unique and beautiful hand made items .
I will be there with a vast selection of gifts and cards. I upcycle and recycle stuff to prevent more landfill and my cards and framed pictures are all original hand painted watercolours.
Come along and support local crafts people. Look forward to seeing you there

Don't forget the Easter Craft event tomorrow 9th April at St Thomas's centre in Chatsworth road from 1pm til 3pm. Here's a selection of my hand crafted items - dog bandanas, scrunchies, face masks, bottle bags, peg bags, makeup purses, pencil cases, sun hats (believe me you will need one eventually), Easter egg carriers, hand painted cards and bookmarks and small framed original watercolours. All frames and fabrics are reclaimed, rescued and upcycled to reduce waste. Everything is unique and handcrafted. There will be loads of other local makers there and of course the coffee shop will be open too.

Today's creations made from a seersucker tablecloth. All fully lined and would make brilliant packaging for an Easter egg ?

Doggie bandanas. Made from curtain fabric given a second chance .....a bit like my rescue dogs. So both saved !!

Easter Market at St Thomas' church Chatsworth Road Saturday April 9th 1pm till 3pm.

I will be there selling sunhats (trust me you will need one someday) doggie bandanas, hair
scrunchies, bags, face coverings etc along with my cards and watercolour paintings.

The coffee shop will be open. Make it a day out lol

Had an amazing day at Bakewell Christmas Sparkle - FREE Family Event .met some lovely kind people and some liked my stuff so much they bought it !! The snow may have deterred some folk but it didn't spoil the day. Thank you Bridget and the Bakewell team. Well done.

Not only paintings and cards but now I have tote bags. Various designs and all made from repurposed / recycled fabric. Curtains, cushion covers, dinner napkins and table mats that are now living a new life as a very handy and colourful bag. Reuse and recycle to save waste...it's the future.
