First of the many book reading events for Rey Collins: I was invited by the Rotary Club of Murphy to share my journey as a young book author to the kids of Kuya Center for Street Children, Inc. It was such a memorable experience for me, not only because it was a first, but also because of the time I got to spend with the Kuya Center kids. It was heartwarming to hear their excitement about their own potential and future. I cannot wait to meet them again. ✨

I did something today, something different and memorable.

Grateful to Teacher Maita and Davao City Library for welcoming Rey Collins with open arms! It’s an honor to know that my stories will inspire and entertain Davaoeños of all ages. Here’s to sparking imaginations and creating lifelong readers! 📚🙏

It is a great honor to be able to inspire young kids and influence them into writing. And so, I am very grateful for being invited as a guest speaker for Literacy Week, which happened last week. I talked about my first book, Rey Collins and The Stag of Leighis, and how I got into writing.

I can still remember my KCLC moments even though it was 6 years ago already. They really helped build my love for reading. (And I had the best teachers! Every day was a good day!)
