“Every child you encounter is a divine appointment.” Thank you for this opportunity, Pres. Vicky De Castro and Rotary Club of Murphy Cubao ! Telling my story, playing games, and sharing a meal with everyone, this unforgettable experience had definitely left a mark on me. I can only hope I did the same for the kids of Kuya Center for Street Children. 🙏
First of the many book reading events for Rey Collins: I was invited by the Rotary Club of Murphy to share my journey as a young book author to the kids of Kuya Center for Street Children, Inc. It was such a memorable experience for me, not only because it was a first, but also because of the time I got to spend with the Kuya Center kids. It was heartwarming to hear their excitement about their own potential and future. I cannot wait to meet them again. ✨
I did something today, something different and memorable.
Grateful to Teacher Maita and Davao City Library for welcoming Rey Collins with open arms! It’s an honor to know that my stories will inspire and entertain Davaoeños of all ages. Here’s to sparking imaginations and creating lifelong readers! 📚🙏
Celebrated my 12th birthday with a simple get-together with friends. Can you spot my Rey Collins series standing front and center on our bookshelf?
I am grateful and thrilled to see the Rey Collins series on the shelves of the LSCA Library. Thank you for the opportunity to influence more kids into reading and writing. Imagine, more Filipino young authors! How exciting for the future of Creative Writing in the Philippines! Can’t wait to read your books, too! 👏🤝
To Mrs. Victoria De Castro, President of the Rotary Club of Murphy 3780, and to Col. Rodrigo Bonifacio, thank you for your generosity and for supporting the Rey Collins series! 🙏
Book signing 🙏 These books are on their way to different school libraries. I hope kids around the Philippines would enjoy my stories!
It’s here! Let’s surprise my Mom this time.
She helped me day and night to finish this book. And even when she didn’t, Mom motivated me through her hugs and kisses.
Hope you like my surprise Mommy! ❤️

“Fourteen-year-old warlock Rey has just woken up from a coma, and is back home with Aunt Carrie and his friend Milo. But just as things are returning to normal, nightmares of his failed attempt to resurrect his late father visit him every night. Dealing with bottled up feelings, he has been plagued with bizarre episodes, where he wakes up in unexpected situations, leaving him with no memories of what happened.
Hoping for an explanation and a cure, his meeting with the Elder, an all-knowing tree, leaves him more puzzled as he discovers a dark family secret—a beast cursed to live inside of him.
What kinds of magic would Rey encounter this time? Most of all, will Rey be able to resist the beast and protect the people he loves, or will he eventually turn into something extremely dangerous?”

"This book is a must-have and I genuinely enjoyed the story. Mario is a boy I can relate to, as someone with fears that I had faced myself, it made me feel seen and included.“ - X. G. Antazo

It is a great honor to be able to inspire young kids and influence them into writing. And so, I am very grateful for being invited as a guest speaker for Literacy Week, which happened last week. I talked about my first book, Rey Collins and The Stag of Leighis, and how I got into writing.
I can still remember my KCLC moments even though it was 6 years ago already. They really helped build my love for reading. (And I had the best teachers! Every day was a good day!)
Thank you for having me, Kindergarten Camp Learning Center (KCLC) Antipolo! ❤️
I am lucky to have met one of the authors, and I switched books with her! I gave my signed copy of Rey Collins and the Stag of Leighis, and in return, received a signed copy of Ang Mga Alon Sa Amin. 🤩 Thanks to Ms. Rainey for the inspiring message! AHA Stories
