A before and after of the kitchen of a recent Chiswick project. We removed the step to level the floor throughout and unwrapped the steel making the space so much lighter. Relocating the kitchen allowed us to add a pantry.

Before and after of our Chiswick project. We removed the concrete level, and unwrapped the steel to open up the space. Relocating the kitchen, which gave us the opportunity to add a pantry.

Another gem from Istanbul. A cushion in a classic chintamani pattern, one of my favourites, it’s been used for centuries by the Ottomans as a repeating pattern in textiles, carpets and tiles. added the ikat trim in contrasting colours.

So thrilled with the vintage suzani I picked up in Istanbul, it's an absolute beauty. I need to back it with something, any ideas?

Inspired by my visit to the Affordable Art Fair last night. Here are some of my favourite examples of ways to fill your walls. Antique botanical prints in different coloured bobbin frames, singing out against Albaicin wallpaper by the clever and current . This bejewelled mirrored wall of Barnaba Fornassetti’s ‘green living room’, photographed by . A brilliant gallery way in a basement cinema by the oh so talented . A wonderful coastal inspired gallery wall, again by and a smart, simple, monochrome wall of black and white, my favourite way to display family photographs.

An all time favourite from the clever kate_priceinteriors who has a gift for finding such treasures. I love everything about it, the moody colour, pop of red and that frame, perfection!
