POWER in Lynn

POWER in Lynn

POWER stands for Power of Women Establishing Relationships in Lynn. We are an informal networking group of women that work, live, or just love Lynn!

POWER in Lynn stands for Power of Women Establishing Relationships in Lynn. We encourage women who are in business, non-profits, volunteering, retired, job hunting or running their own business to JOIN US. We meet for a monthly lunch at various locations in Lynn and have a special event now and then, but we are always there to help each other out through the power of our relationships. We have no membership fees or rules...just the cost of lunch if you RSVP to meet us for lunch!

Hi Ladies,

Our next lunch is coming up on Wed. March 20th at noon. Cindy Steger Wilson is hosting at Lynn Community Health Center at 20 Central Ave. Cost is $10. I hope you are all enjoying summer! Please save the date for Wed. Sept. 20th at the Lynn Museum. More details and RSVP email to follow after Labor Day.

I have to let you know that I recently met with Debby Segil and Taylor Lamberta who manage caregiver support at GLSS for families dealing with Alzheimer’s Disease and dementia related illness Perhaps you have heard of the Memory Café that is held the third Thursday every month at the Lynn Museum? Debby and Taylor are trying to spread the word about their services and programs to help support care givers and patients alike. They will present at our meeting in September but just had to share this great information – most of us probably know someone or have a family member that is dealing with a dementia related illness. The good news is there is help in our communities.
