Ever wonder why your moods differ throughout the month? (You’re not just crazy or bipolar, promise! 😜)

A lot of women aren’t familiar with their full cycle and what comes with each phase.

Don’t beat yourself up if you’re not going full force all the time. There’s a reason and we should keep this in mind, plan accordingly, and forgive ourselves! ♥️

What would I say is the 1st thing to focus on?

WATER! 💦

A lot of us have probably heard a rule of thumb is to drink half our body weight in ounces of water, right?

But did you know that doesn’t account for your activity level?

If you exercise or are active throughout the day, you should be aiming for more!

Start slow - add 1 more bottle per day or swap out one soda for a water and build from there!

I look at these and see hair growth, which tells me I’m feeding my body appropriately with the right nutrients! 💁‍♀️

•Homemade taco seasoning to avoid excess sugar and sodium
•Carb Lean tortilla wraps
•90/10 lean ground beef

⬇️Low-Fat option - Swap out sour cream for 0% Greek Yogurt

⬆️Higher-Carb option - Add beans or rice

Mini grocery haul this week.

Lots of protein and lean meat. Not as many whole foods as I prefer, but that’s what the power bowls are for.

They’re easy quick healthy meals with lots of veggies, good protein, and even cauliflower rice.

What’s your go-to quick meals?

I highly recommend starting your day with a podcast. It proved important to me when I was seeking positive mentorship when I found myself not having any around me.

In 2018, I heard my first podcast episode for personal development, which was Mel Robbin's concept of the 5 Second Rule.

Now, I feel lost if I miss listening to one each day. It boosts my mood, creativity, and self-worth.

Welcome - I'm glad you're here!

For those of you that don't know, I lost 100 lb. in 2017-2018, also shown in my profile picture.

During 2020, my mental health declined and I gained *some* of that weight back. I could choose to hide until I get back where I was OR...I could share what works, mistakes I've made along the way, and share wellness tips while I'm getting back to the healthier version of ME.
