Its very shameful

Never seen that students were getting expel from college just because of rising the demand of college such type of act by government is not acceptable we strongly condemns the decision of college & department ✊

We strongly condemns the arrest students of Geyzing college, who were raising the burning issues on infrastructure development of their campus, instead of dialogue with them for amicable solution they're deployed police force on students and detained them on undemocratic manners it is untolerable and disgusting work done by state governments which we called black day of sikkimese society, more power to you all dear students..
We demands that the students should be released immediately...

State governments failed to solved many issues placed by public...

Reality of Sikkim

DEMANDS:

1. Remove Restrictions in the transportation.
2. Allow Pillion Rider in two wheelers.
3. Run SNT busses without increasing the fare.

We noticed beginning of the year state government always salient when genuine demand raise by public, instead of full filling our demand they are busy with undesirable political programs.

Bazzar open, political rallies going on without followed health protocol and all but they urged public to follow social distancing in vehicles which is unsatisfiable decision made by state governments

Reality of Sikkim

We had mail to our state Hon'ble CM on 08/09/2020 but no response till date it shows that they were ignored us or neglected private university's students fraternity.

Subject: Requesting for the concession on fees in private university
Respected sir,
We the concern student of all Sikkim private university undergoing UG/PG courses would like to bring out highlights of suppression and damages of ongoing pandemic situation which resulted in setback of many students household, therefore due to which we are facing a lot of problems while paying the full amount of semester fees. As majority of people belong to non-government organizations like tourism, business, etc. the pandemic has devastatingly affected government and non-government sectors therefore due to which universities asking to pay full fees during crisis like this is highly unappreciatable, as students are not being able to use the infrastructure like library, laboratories and many immovable assets for which the students have to pay even without using the facilities properly. Most of the students in every university are facing this problem therefore; the government can help the students solve their problems by providing fee concession of 25% to each and every student studying in private university.
We understand that every university in Sikkim is following highest work ethics wherein students are really thankful and greatful to the University for maintaining such ethics and helping our supporting staff who also maintained a friendly environment for every student to study. Many others universities of other states have being given the notice for concession on fees, states like Chennai, UP, MP, etc. We also hope that our education department will look over this matter and make some decision on behalf of the students.
So lastly, we would like to request for this exceptional year and the wave off the late fees charges for this semester. We would be obliged to the government/ education department for taking the necessary action in favor of the students.

Do not panic our fellow colleagues and please do not back off unless our demand will not entertain in their court because we raised guniune demand, they should think about it others we will take another steps soon.
