People really close to me knows how much I enjoy Christmas!🎄🎁

I'm real serious about my Christmas tree too lol! My husband calls my daughter and I, "Cornesha," because we get extremely excited to watch Christmas movies, put up our tree and listen to Christmas songs 24 hours a day until Christmas!!! 🙌🏽

Ever found yourself praying for months or even years for something and you slowly start to give up?
If you are like me, you may have asked these questions: God are you hearing my prayers?! Is this impossible for me to obtain? Why not me? Why does it appear that everybody else's dreams are coming true, but not mine? What am I doing wrong?
Most times we always end with, what am I doing wrong? This leads us to eventually giving up and stop praying. NEVER STOP PRAYING. (1 Thessalonians 5:17) 🙏🏽

I don't know about you, but I sometimes feel defeated as if all of my dreams will never come true.
Just being honest.
I get frustrated and sad, because it seems like every step I take forward, I get pushed 3 steps back. I was reading my devotional this morning and it said we should act like this when waiting on God to execute His plan in our lives.
We should have hope and waiting with crazy anticipation! Anticipation like a kid waking up on Christmas morning or walking down the aisle to marry the love of your life or eating some gumbo with potato salad in the winter! Ok well that last one is just me, 🤣🤣🤪 but you get where I'm going. We need to be excited about what God is working behind the scenes specifically for us!! This devotional spoke directly to me this morning and I hope this post encourages you!

The Struggle is REAL! There are many days that I am asking God, "when will this season of my life be over?!" Honestly, I haven't gotten a response.
When you feel God is not hearing you or you aren't hearing from Him, it feels lonely. At least it makes me feel lonely and hopeless. So guess what, I KEEP PRAYING ANYWAY!!!
At some point I will get a response and it will be in true God's fashion; in His perfect timing and far greater than I could ever imagine!
So if you find yourself feeling stuck in a particular season of your life as I have, KEEP PRAYING YOUR WAY OUT OF IT!

Two of the most successful chains, and both sell pretty much the same thing and always located not too far from each other. Yet, they still manage to make their dreams reality by placing their own spin on burgers and fries!
This message is dear to me, because I would sometimes feel defeated when I found out that somebody I knew had a business doing what I wanted to do. I've also had these unique business ideas, but didn't have the credit nor money to pursue it. Then, I would see on the news or social media that a celebrity, with money to spare, started the exact same business!!!
I WOULD BE CRUSHED!
Until one day my husband said to me, "Just because somebody else is doing it, doesn't mean you can't do it better or just in your own way and still be successful!" My mindset changed forever! I now am confident that I can do anything I set my heart to even if somebody is already doing it! I'll do it better or in my own way in God's right timing! YOU CAN TOO!

There is a season for everything and patience is needed. However, I sometimes feel like I just want to give up on it all and my patience is nonexistent.
It seems as if the dreams aren't becoming reality fast enough. I'm not the parent, wife or Christian that I'm striving to be fast enough. I'm not losing weight fast enough. The list goes on.
I sometimes feel bad about praying for my life to change when God has blessed me so much. I know there is somebody out there who needs God's help a lot more than me, but I need and want Him too!
