โHalo! My name is Kim-Marie Spence and Iโm FIRST!

Neither one of my parents graduated college and so when I enrolled into university as a freshman Iโll admit I was overwhelmed with the pressure to prevail triumphantly.ย I did not know how to select my courses properly or even how to locate classrooms and lecture theatres!
However I soon got the gist of it as I learned quickly how to navigate the system due to my adaptation abilities. My will to succeed defeated the inner saboteur that existed in me which at times made me feel I wasnโt capable enough to be prosperous in my journey. There were moments when I had doubts about my academic abilities compared to my peers.ย Alas! I discovered the formula : motivation +inspiration =productivity after which I stopped being in my head too much and start working profusely towards my goals.ย I was just as smart as everyone else โ and I had just as much to contribute โ all I needed was the confidence & to believe in myself as well as the determination to work hard and seek assistance when I needed it.
So thatโs my message to all of you โ no matter what strata of society you are from or the financial background of your family , I want you to know that you can successfully complete your university journey and ascertain your degree! Keep hanging in there ! Keep your eyes on the prize and go on to build an incredible life for yourself.โ
