ABOUT THE SUMMIT:
There is a call for everyone, especially young people, to take heed. A call to a noble work that would glorify God and bless humanity. Now is an opportunity to fill our high destiny. Christ is calling you to enlist under His standard, and bear the banner of the cross before the world. Let us aspire for the grander work, that is, to lighten the earth with God's glory. Take the gospel from another fresh perspective. Learn more of Him and we behold Him till we are changed into His image.

This summit is not limited to medical practitioners but more on training laymen to relieve physical suffering and gain access to the hearts of the people for the proclamation of the everlasting gospel. Medical Missionary training will be integrated during breakouts so there will be exciting things to learn that can be brought back to the churches. Let us make our churches living churches. Let us all engage in this work.

The Lord has a special work to do for us individually. As we see the wickedness of the world brought to light in the courts of justice and published in the daily papers, let us draw near to God, and by living faith lay hold of His promises, that the grace of Christ may be manifest in us. We may have an influence, a powerful influence, in the world.... We are to have an eye single to the glory of God. We are to work with all the intelligence that God has given us, placing ourselves in the channel of light, that the grace of God can come upon us to mold and fashion us to the divine similitude. Heaven is waiting to bestow its richest blessings upon those who will consecrate themselves to do the work of God in these last days of the world’s history. AG 272.2

Today we need men of thorough fidelity, men who follow the Lord fully, men who are not disposed to be silent when they ought to speak, who are as true as steel to principle, who do not seek to make a pretentious show, but who walk humbly with God, patient, kind, obliging, courteous men, who understand that the science of prayer is to exercise faith and show works that will tell to the glory of God and the good of His people.... To follow Jesus requires wholehearted conversion at the start, and a repetition of this conversion every day.41 SD 207.3

There can be no growth or fruitfulness in the life that is centered in self. If you have accepted Christ as a personal Saviour, you are to forget yourself, and try to help others. Talk of the love of Christ, tell of His goodness. Do every duty that presents itself. Carry the burden of souls upon your heart, and by every means in your power seek to save the lost. As you receive the Spirit of Christ—the Spirit of unselfish love and labor for others—you will grow and bring forth fruit. The graces of the Spirit will ripen in your character. Your faith will increase, your convictions deepen, your love be made perfect. More and more you will reflect the likeness of Christ in all that is pure, noble, and lovely. COL 67.3
