Do you post regularly on your social media channels?
Do you get little engagement or think no one is watching?
Last night a post I created for a client went live at 7pm and by 8.30pm they had received 18 enquiries for the new classes that were advertised!
Keep posting your content, vary it up and make sure you are connecting with your ideal client!
I think Iβm getting obsessed with all things π!
Iβm drinking peach flavoured water, just cleaned my desk with Peach Blossom spray, had my nails done in peach and the list goes onβ¦.. but swipe to see the cutest peachy puppy in her recovery suit following her operation!

Is your social media admin stopping you from focussing on developing your business like one of my clients?

π ABOUT ME π
I thought I would introduce myself again as we start a new year!
π Iβm Julie aka Peachy and I turned 50 last year!
π My husband Craig and I got married in New York in 2022 in Central Park.
π Iβve 2 amazing sons, Ross aged 24 and Evan aged 21 and an almost 10 month old Cavapoo pup called Beulah.
π I love musical theatre, both as a performer and an audience member and Iβm a little bit of a Strictly fan too!
π I set Peachy Keen up 10 months ago after running my own successful papercrafting business and wanted to share the many skills Iβve acquired during that time!
π I can work with you for a minimum of 5 hours per month and help you with all social media tasks, content creation, email marketing and proofreading.

Have you seen people doing this?
Itβs been coming up in my timeline all weekend and whilst I love supporting people and their businesses - trends like this can be really damaging!
π Loads of people are doing it and it looks really spammy.
π Social media is all about being authentic and finding your ideal client. Asking your friends to do this might increase your followers but they probably wonβt be interested in your business and youβll be talking to the wrong people!
π Itβs much better to have fewer followers who have a want or a need for what you offer than loads of followers who donβt give two hoots about what you provide! Think quality over quantity!
Have you seen this or had friends sharing?

I lost a lovely client this month which means Iβve a 5 hours a month slot available immediately for social media help.
My lovely client has now got a family member taking over on the marketing side of things and Iβm thrilled to have helped her build up her social media over the last 9 months.
Please do get in touch if you need my help, Iβd love to assist!

Bad Julie for letting my own socials slide!

Happy New Year to everyone who supports me!

Can you resonate with this statement?
This is a section of a review I received last week from a happy client and I think it's fair to say most of my clients feel like this at the moment.
If you feel like you cannot keep up with social media as your business grows, please do get in touch as I can help on a freelance basis! I provide my own office space and laptop, I pay my own tax, pension and national insurance, I make my own cups of tea and I don't need to come on the staff christmas do!
I would love to help free up some time for you in your business!
I thought Iβd share a little bit about my history!
From 2016 until 2021 I owned and ran a craft studio near where I lived! It was an absolute dream of mine and used up every organisational bone in my body!
It was a combination of being incredibly hard work and also very rewarding at the same time!
When Covid hit things were so unknown and I let it go - I had to process a lot of sadness in doing this but I knew it was the right decision and I now run my crafting business part time mostly online which I love - I love that I can reach people who lived too far away to visit me!
Then I see a photo like this in my Timehop and it hits me like a brick! I miss it a lot but then I know Iβm doing whatβs right for me now! I love helping others and my little craft haven enabled me to build up a plethora of skills to move forward.
So Iβll now look back at these photos and cherish the happy times I had here, knowing that for five years I lived my dream!
π
π
π
So Iβve had another lovely review in from the fabulous Sarah who runs a popular swimming school!
Iβve known Sarah for many years through our love of crafting and I initially approached her when I was starting out to let her know about my services.
Sarah was quite capably managing her own socials but like many business owners find, as her business grew her social media got pushed to the bottom of the pile! And Sarah came back to me which I am thrilled about!
Thank you Sarah for trusting me to take good care of your wonderful business - love from your social media boss!!!

If you own a small business and do most of the leg work yourself, do you feel like you have enough time to do everything that you need to do to keep things running?
Sometimes when we do it all it can result in stress, lack of sleep and the "never switching off" syndrome! Time that should be spent with family may be sacrificed because you need to "finish this bit of admin" or "just post on social media".
If this is sounding a little like you and you need to free up some of your time then I can help by taking some tasks off your hands.
I am Julie and I run Peachy Keen Social Media and support small businesses with
π Social Media scheduling
π Graphics
π Content creation
π Email marketing
π Blog or website updates
Please do get in touch via messenger or via my website
www.peachykeensocialmedia.com and we can look to start 2024 with a new organised and stress free approach!
Really looking forward to hearing from you! π
I was chatting with a client today about our social media plans and during our chat she said this to me!
You do an amazing job!
I am wondering how many times people are told that in their employed roles?
Anyway it made me smile, gave me a boost and fired me up to have an even better Thursday than I was already having!

π Hiring a virtual assistant can often be more cost-effective than employing a full-time staff member for several reasons: Here are just 5 of the top reasons!
π 1. Reduced Overhead Costs: When you hire a full-time employee, you typically have to cover costs such as office space, equipment, utilities, and potentially benefits like healthcare, paid time off, and pension contributions. Virtual assistants work remotely, so you don't need to provide these resources and we provide our own tea and coffee and don't need a staff do at Christmas!
π 2. Flexible Payments: Virtual assistants are often hired on a contract or freelance basis. This means you can pay them for the specific tasks or hours they work, without the long-term financial commitment of a full-time salary and benefits package.
π 3. No Recruitment and Training Costs: Hiring a full-time employee involves recruitment expenses such as job ads, interviews, and background checks. Additionally, you would need to invest time and resources in training a new employee. Virtual assistants are usually experienced professionals who require minimal training.
π 4. Pay for Productivity: Virtual assistants are generally paid for the work they complete, so you're paying for actual output rather than just time spent in the office. This can lead to greater efficiency and a focus on results. Full-time employees might have periods of low activity or downtime, during which you're still paying them a salary. Virtual assistants are generally paid only when they are actively working on tasks for you.
π 5. No Long-Term Commitment: Hiring a full-time employee involves a commitment to provide ongoing work and compensation. With virtual assistants, you can engage them for short-term or project-based work without long-term obligations.
If you would like a chat about how I can help with your business please do get in touch.

I do keep harping on about this, but having an email list, in addition to your social media platforms is paramount when it comes to running a business.
Your super duper email list could include current customers, past customers and contacts.
Social media accounts are not 100% reliable, these can be taken from you at the drop of a hat, I know of people who have fallen victim to this, SO let's get you some email marketing backup in place.
I am able to help with both Mailchimp and Mailerlite and set these up for you for a one off fee - OR if you would like me to create weekly or monthly newsletters for you, I can do that too!
Don't keep this secret to yourself! Share with a friend!
