As I'm writing my serial killer book, Ive been putting myself in the time period. The usual murder weapons were knives, guns and poison. During this time period there was no television and no telephone but only letters and word of mouth. Neighbors knew each other well. There were no automobiles only horses and horse carriages. Streets were mostly mud and dirt. But the psychology of it all is also what's interests me. Why do it? Why kill someone? Greed? Jealousy? Envy? Blood lust? And if youve decided to take a life, did you make a plan or just wing it? Did any of them get away Scott free? Remember there are no cameras. People also lived sometimes a mile or more apart and they also could live within a few feet next door. A big roll is $35 was elite status money back then. I have 6 more chapters to write. It's been alot of fun
I was thinking something like this for my next book cover.
Pre-20th century serial killers: Dead. Captured. Unknowns. And never found.
Writing about HH Holmes has been alot of fun. Actually taking the time to learn more about him has been mind opening. Most the stuff I knew from before has been all speculation and rumors and no hard evidence. I grew up thinking that his murder castle was just a place that was like an evil mirror house that people were like mice trying to escape and he'd trap door them into acid pits. Writing about him has been very interesting. He is close to the end of the book and is the biggest name of my book.
Out of the 43 chapters in my new book I'm at 29. I'm hoping to be done by June. It's a nonfiction book on 1700s and 1800s serial killers. The who, what, why and how of every killer during these periods. From the Harpe brothers to HH Holmes and the Denver strangler. But yes I'm hoping by June. Because right after that I'm going right back into my last book of the octopus series called Crumbs, that my plans are sometime mid to late next year. Crumbs has so much information in it that it's gonna be wild and crazy. My goals were 2 books a year but I think Crumbs might ruin that.
In the future I plan on writing more horsemen books. The next one of those with me the Black Horse. I'm thinking about adding a song to the list. I already have: Major Tom, Jeremy, Mr. Jones, Freshman and Unsteady. Thinking about adding Corey Taylor's From Can to Can't.
The Red Horse book will include: One, Bulls on Parade, Uprising, Radioactive, and Wrong Side of Heaven.
Here's a run down of, The Chronicles. A FBI agent has his first station in little rock. He overheard on the scanner a fire with 2 dead bodies inside. He is bored and goes over to see. But he questions the cause of death. He's asking questions and finds a lead from a family friend. Later he is reassigned to the DC office and finds more suspicious activity. Reassigned back to Arkansas and finds more suspicious activities. Until one day he travel to Dallas and is overlooking the very spot that Oswald shot Kennedy and is met by a man that was sent to kill him. The detective was waiting for him. And talked his way of out of getting killed. The assassin went on a new mission. The detective quits the agency and is now a private investigator trying to find out who is behind these suspicious activities.
My detective is named: Atticus. Because Atticus Finch was a brave and noble man in the book, To Kill a Mockingbird. The book has real names and places and dates. These were suspicious deaths and everytime I read them they called to me. I had to write a book. The assassin is named Michael and he goes on in the second book called The Octopus. I wanted The Chronicles to have a Perry Mason/The Last Boy Scout feel to it. Before I started writing this story I knew I wanted it to be on the Clinton body count and in my mind I always thought that the Clintons were at the top on the pyramid that they were running the whole show. But I came to a death, Danny Casolaro. He showed me a new way a different branch that many have never seen. He literally changed the ending to the book, to basically the entire series. Probably never would have wrote The Octopus if it weren't for him. That's why I dedicated The Octopus to him.
My 5th book is now on Amazon ready for your orders
My 5th book is now available on kindle.
About 6 months ago my Amazon account was hacked. And Amazon services wouldn't let me back in my account. But last night they moved all my work all my published work over to my new account. So this week I plan on publishing my newest work called, The Octopus.
For the past month or so I've been listening to the MLK tapes on iHeartRadio. It's triggering another book idea. A book where a guy going to law school in Memphis during the assassination on MLK finds things about the whole thing to be weird and starts asking questions which leads him down roads that he can't return from.
Like my Chronicles book where I have a FBI agent looking into the Clinton body count.
But I don't know I have to finish the ones I've started first. Ugh ADHD.
Quick question how many of you have bought or read my books? I'll go first. I've bought 15 of my own so I can keep them on my shelf and also sell on the side and give to someone who has a inquiring mind on my stories.
Again thank you to those who have bought or read my stories. It means alot. I put alot of work into them and to say you've finished something feels good but hey...the goal is reached yet. I still have 2 more books to do of the horseman series and kinda 2 more of the political mysteries because I've finished 1 but hasn't published it yet. I plan on doing 5 serial killer books. A Disney prince book. A erotic book. And to finish it all a final poetry book. So...yeah lots of work to do and I'm glad you are all on this journey with me
The ADHD is kicking my ass lately. I've started Crumbs and I've started The Evolution of the 1700-1800 Serial Killer. But I really want to do is finish the four horsemen series and I'm doing more notes on Disney prince stories. Ugh. I wish this was like Tommyknockers.
I love writing. I also like telling people about my books. Im proud of my work.
My ultimate goal just like any modern writer today is to get a film deal. But see that's the really hard part of this goal. I don't know many people. Hopefully someone out there that reads this does. Or someone reads this and knows someone who knows someone who knows... you get it, but that's how this goal will work.
So please spread the word of my stories.
Thanks
I just want to thank everyone for buying my books for the past few years. I love you guys. 5th book should be out early next year and 6th book mid to late next year.
Been working on my 6th book. It's been taking me 5 days just to write about the Bloody Benders. Almost done with that chapter.
