Entry #5 A Whole New World

As the pandemic continues, Philippine culture has been gradually obliterated. There are numerous issues to address, most notably health-related issues, reestablishing the country's economy, and a host of others that must be prioritized. On the other hand, our own culture and traditions are being forgotten. As a result, students like us take the initiative in prioritizing it in our own unique way. The digital poster demonstrates how we, as students, continue to value this. One of the figures is the floating face mask, which serves as a metaphor for the new normal (Covid-19 Pandemic) in which we now find ourselves. It is occupied by Filipinos, students, and anyone else who does not see the pandemic as a hindrance to preserving the country's culture. The elements in the surrounding area are the Philippine culture, tradition, and accomplishments over time. Instead of dwelling on the negative, we, as students, chose to move forward and embrace the "new world." We look for ways to pique Filipinos' interest in learning about and promoting Philippine culture.
