We went and had a little play at Radnor today 😍 couldn’t be bothered driving somewhere and well tbh I don’t think Freya actually cares as long as she’s at a park 😂

With rain comes puddles 😍 silver linings, I’m not one for false positivity but it doesn’t hurt to find the positives in situations, we may have missed our trip to the park this morning but I did manage to find some reduced jars, picked up a new school skirt for the teen and perfected my merging on the motorway skills a little more

Freya got to steal crisps from thekentishdads lunch as the car decided it had no oil when we dropped him off at work😂 I definitely need to remember to check it regularly and not once every 6m 🙈 will do some extra checks for a few days to check it’s not a leak though. This was not good for my anxiety but I’m definitely a pro at motorways now

She definitely wasn’t this happy on yesterdays school run 😂

Spent our morning at kearsney abbey, was definitely needed after spending the rest of half term at home thanks to an awful cold.
Our from is still going strong and we made some sandcastles with sticks for flags 😂

We visited for the first time today, we only went to the park itself and the girls played for the entire time we was there. Definitely need to go back and explore all the grounds at some point. Not a bad morning out for the cost of parking and a 40min drive

Quality night at last night, awesome atmosphere and great music

Living close to Dover meant our plans for the day went wrong because of the traffic coming via Folkestone to the port 🤦🏻‍♀️ but we still got out after Freya’s nap (thanks to a disastrous trip to town this morning) they also managed to find the only puddle in the park 😂

Ended up being a day of running errands and somehow I ended up buying a giant rabbit (have I ever said how much I hate giant cuddlies?)
So my story poll suggests that most of us have mum guilt over not going out every day! When did this start to happen? I suspect social media is to blame as usual because I never remembered feeling guilty with my first two when either it didn’t exist or I didn’t both with it. So what do you guys think? Social media induced or just ageing?

I don’t think I’ve ever had such a wet March. I’m really hoping April is drier, ended up at b&m for some supplies and to get out of the house for an hour 😂

Strawberry milkshake cheesecake for birthday cake today 😍

It’s Mother’s Day today but it’s also the Kentish dads birthday so I fought a lot of anxiety and we went for a spontaneous drive to dymchurch for fish and chips 😍 even though we live a ten minute walk to the beach it is nice to go and visit other beaches, the weather was perfect and just what we both needed

We’ve coslept her entire life and last night she spent the night in her own bed and didn’t even wake up 🎉 granted she fell asleep in my bed before I moved her and her bed is next to mine but baby steps (for both of us)

The weekend has involved food, drinks (for me) friends, feminist punk and crochet

Today is wet, like really wet. I escaped to Morrisons for some supplies and may have sat in the car for a bit before driving home 😂 can we have spring now please
