Stork's Nest is an incentive-based prenatal health promotion program for low-income pregnant women.
Rho Chi Community Uplift (RCCU) was founded as the charitable arm of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated, the Rho Chi Zeta Chapter. The organization provides programs and services to UPLIFT the Delaware County community through scholarship, education and community service.
Delco Gives Day is a 24-hour county-wide day of giving and community celebration, hosted by The Foundation for Delaware County, where people will make a donation to their favorite nonprofits (or peruse new ones) on the delcogives.org site. Please consider donating to the Rho Chi Community Uplift and sharing with family and friends.
April 11th – 17th marks Black Maternal Health Week 2024, and this year there are a large number of events happening throughout Delaware County, in the region and at the State Capital in Harrisburg through the Pennsylvania Black Maternal Health Caucus. BMHW is a week-long campaign founded and led by the Black Mamas Matter Allianceto build awareness, activism, and community-building to amplifythe voices, perspectives and lived experiences of Black Mamas and birthing people. We hope that everyone can find something this week to participate in – either in Delco or regionally, virtually or in Harrisburg – or attend as many events as you are able. Please review the flyers with care to make note of all the details for each event, and don’t forget to register where requested!
