God, may the people of modern day Israel put their faith in you, the same God of ancient Israel, and may they see that true peace and victory over evil only comes through your Son, the Messiah, Jesus Christ! Amen.

I just saw this video for the first time and I loved 💕 this line. Growing in Christlike character is not 🚫easy. It’s painful. It’s tiring. But it’s also so good for us. It leads to human flourishing we could never accomplish on our own. I’m not sure what you’re growing though right now but hang in there. You’re loved 🩷 and God is up to something good.

I’m so grateful we can live with that assurance. 💕🩷

This is the theme verse our kids’ school picked this year, and I know I’ll be saying it to myself over and over because Zach is a SENIOR and I’m not too happy about it 😂 .

Everyone said “it goes by so fast” and I rolled my eyes because those days with babies are long, and I remember wondering if I would ever get to eat a whole meal sitting down again.

It went by too fast.

Summer☀️with my sidekicks is just the best. 💕

This is the kind of stuff that lights my ♥️ on 🔥. When we’re in the pits of life, God not only thinks 🤔 about us, he acts for us. AND no further action is required to pay for our sin because Jesus has already settled our debt.

Summer is calling my name ☀️

So is Psalm 143:8 - “Let the morning bring me word of your unfailing love 💕 for I have put my trust in you. Show me the way I should go, for to you I entrust my life.”

What a beautiful alternative to what our unforgiving world has to offer. I spend so much energy worrying 😩 if I’ll say the wrong thing, do the wrong thing, act the wrong way, mess up, etc. Then I remember that when I stand before our perfectly just God 👑, he’ll look at me through the lens of his perfect son, and say, “You are my beloved.” 💕💖🥰

God loves 💕 you too much to leave you confused about who you are. Seek His unchanging truth, for it is the only path to freedom and fulfillment. You are His beloved. 🥰

A few more pics from my recent trip to Israel 🇮🇱. It’s hard to pick a favorite spot, but seeing the temple platform and ruins in Jerusalem with the Mount of Olives 🫒in the background, and standing in the Elah Valley where David defeated Goliath 🪨 were perhaps two of the most memorable. Jaffa is beautiful. The hummus was next level. And the simple truth is Jesus is the King. He is THE way, truth, and life. If you’re not living this out, you’re unnecessarily complicating your life. Go to Israel and see for yourself, or just open your Bible. It’s true. It happened. And King Jesus is coming back 🦁!

This is King 👑 Artaxerxes’ instruction to Ezra regarding the rebuilding of the temple. But it seems good advice for all of us to build 🧱 our lives on, doesn’t it? 💕

Drink in this sweet truth. Write it in your heart. “Your kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and your dominion endures through all generations. The Lord is faithful to all his promises and loving toward all he has made.” Psalm 145:13

For this busy bee 🐝 who’s been called into a time of stillness 🛀🏻(and isn’t too happy about it), this simple truth touched my heart 🙌🏻 Such good insight from today!

You can trust Jesus to be your Shepherd because he is the Lamb 🐑 who was slain.

Leaving the farm 🐖and heading to a writers’ conference ✍🏻. On the way, I spotted what could be the most amazing piece of art 🎨 I’ve ever seen… a pig that reads and writes! 😍

This quote jumped off the page 📖 of the commentary I was reading on James 5 (be patient through struggles, etc.). Suffering is often inexplicable, but Jesus will most certainly -stake your life on it - triumph 🏆. The promise of hope endures.

On days like today, when we wake to even more chaos, uncertainty, and fear, I especially love verses about the Lord’s power and his tenderness. Such might and such love; he truly is our only hope.

If you enjoy reading together as a family, give this book a chance. With kids ages 5-15, it’s difficult for us to find things we can all grasp and enjoy. This one is fitting the bill 🥳! It probably helps that we have farm lovers🙋🏼‍♀️and dog lovers among us 😂
