Academics•Athletics•Arts
I’ve been a witness to the incredible work that goes into making D6 the best place for students through the eyes of my children. My girls have been blessed to have support academically from classroom teachers that encourage, arts educators (both visual and performing) that inspire, and coaches that influence, all leaving a lasting impact. Every teacher, administrator, coach, and school employee pours into all the young lives in this district. It would be an honor to be an integral part in the decision making and to support these outstanding school faculties in this wonderful district.
Friends and members of Spartanburg District 6 community, this is my official announcement of running for the District 6 School Board. For those who may not know who I am, I am the father of two children who both attend D6 schools and the husband of a teacher in District 6 as well. To those that do know me know that I am a person of honesty, integrity and care about our education system. I find that we as members of the District 6 community and tax payers for our local schools, it is important to have input to what our children are learning and where our schools are heading. It is vital that with all of the challenges education faces that our schools are able to flex and adapt to what our children need. This is not important for just today but for the future as well. If you feel that our children and future children who attend D6 schools need the very best in education then I ask you to please vote for me on November 2, 2021 to be one of your school board representatives. Please feel free to share this with other proud District 6 family members, friends and citizens.
Thank you,
Stephen Broom
