HERE’S A LITTLE ST. PAUL / HOMETOWN HISTORY LESSON… (haha)

• Sept 2001: My first big performance in St. Paul, at the CO-OP Talent Show. The winner gets a trip to Edmonton to perform at the Canadian Finals Rodeo! I win the competition in St. Paul, and I am off to the big city!

• Nov 2001: I sing “I’ve Been Everywhere”, and win 2nd Place in Edmonton!

Since then…

I’ve ditched the shirt. Made a choice to only wear black hats. And I’ve outgrown my little glasses.

20 + years have gone by, but my love and appreciation for the Town of St. Paul, and everyone who has supported me (from the beginning), hasn’t changed. In fact, my gratitude has grown.

As I step onto the stage tonight for our Centerfield Music Festival I’ll have a ticket stub in my cowboy hat from the St. Paul CO-OP Mall talent show, and I’ll tell y’all how proud I am to be where I’m from…
