MCCA are members from the community who work closely with the Community Champions from Morrisons

On Sunday 11th December our team MCCA (Morrisons Cowgate Community Ambassador) took part in our christmas fundraiser which was held at Morrisons Cowgate to support together for short lives and St Oswalds hospice.
Our mission is to secure the best quality of life and best end of life care for children who have short lives.
Together, we will make the most of time and improve quality of life for everyone in the North East living with an incurable condition and their families.
To show our support towards the charity we raised money by having collection buckets situated around the store and adding a bit of hilarity by wearing Christmas themed hats that helped ourselves and the customers in Morrisons to get into the festive spirit. Overall it was a successful morning and once again we raised a substantial amount of money to aid the charities.
We would like to thank the generosity from all the kind customers at Morrisons Cowgate who donated to this worthwhile cause as well as thanking Tracey Henton and her team for their continued support. We will be back out in the community in the new year so if you are out and about please come along and support us.

Together for Short Lives

On Saturday 19th November we took part in another fundraising charity activity as MCCA (Morrisons Cowgate Community Ambassador) which was held at Morrisons Cowgate to support together for short lives and St Oswalds hospice.
Our mission is to secure the best quality of life and best end of life care for children who have short lives.
Together, we will make the most of time and improve quality of life for everyone in the North East living with an incurable condition and their families.
To show our support towards the charity we raised money by selling merchandise as well as having collection buckets situated around the store. Overall it was a successful morning filled with laughter and antics.
We would like to thank the generosity from all the kind customers at Morrisons Cowgate who donated to this worthwhile cause as well as thanking Tracey Henton and her team for their continued support. We will be back out in the community on the 10th December so if you are out and about please come along and support us.

Together for Short Lives

This week we have had our Community Ambassadors help sell Poppies in Morrisons Cowgate to help raise funds for the 2022 Poppy Appeal.
In 2022 the Royal British Legion’s Poppy Appeal will focus on how your poppy shows that you care which helps the RBL continue its vital work supporting the Armed Forces community.
It is vital that we pay tribute to all those who have served and sacrificed and that we continue to support all serving and ex-serving men and women of the armed forces and their families.
On a personal note, I would like to take this opportunity to offer a huge thankyou to Mrs Tracy Henton the community champion of Morrisons Cowgate along with the management and all staff and their customers for all their support and kind donations.

Together, we will make the most of time and improve quality of life for everyone in the North East living with an incurable condition and their families.
To show our support towards the charity we raised money by selling raffle tickets and merchandise as well as having collection buckets situated around the store. Overall it was a successful morning and we raised a significant amount of £253.01.
We would like to thank the generosity from all the kind customers at Morrisons Cowgate who donated to this worthwhile cause as well as thanking Tracey Henton and her team for their continued support. We will be back out in the community on the 17th November so if you are out and about please come along and support us.
