Some days I just want to curl up with a comfy blanket and a snug pillow and read a book with a cup of tea.

Summer is gone… I will miss the lovely Wild Sitka roses.

Painting in details ❤️ what is your favorite animal? I would not say mine is a bear 🐻, but since all I have been painting are bears nobody would believe me 😜.

I think I might start in on horses next… what do you guys think about that?

Watercolor flowers for today ❤️

With market season in full swing I find myself getting into a new routine. Instead of painting in the afternoons (when I got home from my day job) I now mostly paint while at the markets. It helps during the slow times and people love to see what I am working on. It is always fun- especially the the children, they love coming over and seeing what is going on!

Hiking up bear mountain and camping on Skilak lake, waking up to waves gently crashing on the rocks- hello summer ❤️

I have been so busy updating my website lately that all I want to do is get it done so I can get back to painting! Soon 🙂 very soon!

I am getting excited for the market tomorrow!!! I am just about finished with these little magnets 🧲 .

It has been so busy around here. The last couple of days has been full of inventory checking, tweaking displays, making some product ect ect.

Yesterday was the launch of the first Wednesday market here in town! It was a jam packed busy day. I think most of the town came out! I ended up being blessed with a cheerful red sunburn 🥵 I think I need some new sunscreen for sure!

Isn’t this display sweet? A special thanks to my dad for helping me make it. To be honest he did most of the work- just held the boards in place!
