We've found out that the most competitive jackstone players are all the OG mom and titas out there, so we're letting you know the Jackstone court will be at DUWA Children's Festival again this weekend and you can come out and play.

Also, if you can only come a couple of hours, come in the afternoon at around 3PM when Musical Storytelling by Little Boy Productions happens, their performances from last weekend have been magical.

On Sunday, Sistemang Pilipino will be performing in the afternoon. They are an organization that teaches kids how to play classical music. It is going to be a wonderful performance!

There will be Musical Storytelling by wonderful folks from Little Boy Productions every afternoon (3PM) and a very special performance on Sunday afternoon by Sistemang Pilipino - a non-profit that teaches young kids to play classical music. It's going to be magical.

Hello, programming for Duwa Children's Festival continues this week and today is a very special workshop at Fablab UP Cebu designed by professors Mona Alcudia, Ar. Buddy Lim Ong, Fidel Laurence Ricafranca and their team.

The workshop is called Young Inventors Workshop and kids will get asked to ideate solutions to a prompt (or problem). In this case, imagining transportation of the future!

Kids will be paired with professional designers or design students to help them sort out their ideas and if possible create prototypes using the machines in the FABLAB.

We're already guessing that this workshop is going to be wild and super fun!

Hello everyone, here's an updated calendar of activities for Duwa. Hope to see you there!

Hi everyone, we've published an initial list of workshops here: https://duwachildrensfestival.com/workshops. Most of the workshops will happen in the morning from 10AM to 12NN and will be held at the venue at Oakridge Business Park (Designing with Machines will be held at UP Fabrication Lab in UP CEBU). These are paid workshops and come with a snack pack.

There will be FREE performances every afternoon of the festival with seating for families and friends - ballet, theatre, and musical shows.

Filipino games will also be played (tubig-tubig champions come out :) ) and is open for everyone to join.
