This week's edition of Baby Rave is all about Imitation and Mirroring.
We'll be exploring the power of imitation with baby and why it's so important for cognitive development.

Research shows that by 6 months, Baby can recognize they are being imitated by adults. The experience of being imitated has a significant influence on major socio-cognitive functions, including self-awareness, self-other discrimination, familiarity with turn-taking structure, and it strengthens their sense of causality and agency.
So let's get into it on the DANCE FLOOR!

We host virtual dance parties for infants and their grown-ups!
Bringing you research-driven, developmentally nourishing experiences, turning your living room into your new favorite night club.
We're with you every Saturday morning 10am EST on Zoom for
30 minutes to let loose with the whole family— grown-ups can expect to move, vocalize, dance and observe the world with their babies.
While our Raves are designed for infants age zero - 16 months, this is a highly inclusive dance floor, and there’s room for everyone to join the party!

All raves take place on Zoom and are donation-based.
