This year's National Donate Life Month theme is inspired by the vital role that bees play in sustaining life. Bees are a small but powerful life force, working together with dedication, collaboration, and a strong sense of community.
Be a part of this life-sustaining community by registering as an organ, eye, and tissue donor; learning about living and deceased donation; and spreading the word about the Donate Life cause.
This month weโll be posting information, personal stories, events, and opportunities to share using these hashtags:
Make sure to swipe to see ways to get involved this month so you can BEE a Pollinator of Life!
What can you ๐ this month?
Did you know that 99% of all registered donors join the registry at their motor vehicle office? That makes our DMV examiners life savers both on and off the road. We are so thankful for our DMV partnership!
Each year, Donate Life honors and celebrates those DMV stations with the highest donor designation rates and the best improvement over the previous year. Winning stations receive office supplies, snacks, a plaque and our endless gratitude. Here are the winners this year!
If one of these is your DMV station, please take a moment to thank your examiners for their excellent work in saving lives in North Carolina!
Join us for activities celebrating the Donate Life message, honoring donors, and giving hope to those waiting for a second chance at life. Plan your week with this calendar, then tag us in your photos so we can share all the fun!
Join us in celebrating National Living Donor Day, today.
Thank you, Living Donors! ๐๐๐๐

Cheryl Strother donated her kidney to her husband in January 2020 after he was diagnosed with End-Stage Renal Disease a year before. The donation was an easy decision and had a profound effect on their family. The transplant team at Atrium Health in Charlotte, NC guided them through the entire process. Both are healthy and active. Cheryl continues to enjoy hiking, gardening, and traveling.โ
