Absolutely loved making these for a birthday girl with great taste 😉 It’s been a while since I popped my pinny on and baked to order, mainly due to family / real job commitments. I love to bake and be creative but like so many I am stretched for time, unfortunately this means I can’t take on every order request. Box cake 😘 serves 8-12 thought I’d try something new; 2 layers of sponge, this one is filled with lemon compote and lemon buttercream then topped with buttercream florals. Thought this would be a nice alternative for those who don’t want cupcakes but don’t need a big cake. Can be made in various flavours and to whatever buttercream design is wanted. A messy peanut butter and caramel brownie stack drizzled with caramel and sprinkled with Reece’s pieces chips, no one cares about the mess if they taste good though 😂😂 (plus this was a gift not an order 😜 so the mess didn’t matter)

Off to the Harry Potter Studio tour today, so throwing it back to some of these Harry Potter cakes I made for Lyla over the years ❤️❤️ Its taken 3 cancelled trips and almost 4 years to get to this day, thanks to Covid, but I know it will be worth the wait 🙌🏻🙌🏻❤️❤️ I loved making the sorting hat cupcakes and filling them with buttercream in house colours :)
