Based between Oslo and Berlin, the trio finished the Kim Dürbeck-produced track just in time for cuffing season.

Multi-instrumentalist and dancer Mo Van Zandt blurs the lines between science-fiction, fantasy, and our fast changing reality. She moved to Brooklyn in 2016, after studying computer science and psych-rock drumming in Austin, Texas. There she engaged with jazz, funk, and post-rock projects while experimenting with new sounds in experimental pop. Inspired by 90s dance music and art rock icons Bjork, Thom Yorke, and Yves Tumor, she weaves together broken grooves and psychedelic vocals that ignite deep, cathartic movement.

She will release her debut single “hurt.heal” this Friday

“other side” is OUT NOW ❤️‍🔥 ~ The EP showcases the musical soul of the multi-faceted producer and neuroscientist, critical P, in three parts - morning, evening, and night. The first track “sabahlar” is heavily inspired by sunrises in the early mornings ~ including bird-chirp-like synths to start the day. The next track “jiggy”, underscored with an in-your-face bassline and warm, shiny synths, is a perfect track to dance to as the sun goes down. The EP ends with “one last time” with more mellow basslines evoking the feeling of the end of a night-out that leaves you wanting more. “Altogether, the goal of the EP is to bring comfort and nostalgia to its listeners.” - critical P
