Good news! We have decided to hold entries open till next Friday, 8 July. We are just completing the paperwork with MSNZ to make this official. So no need to panic prior to the Far North Rally this weekend.
Also we are planning on adding a Class E to the National / Club rally - this is for Pre-96 4WD vehicles - this class will only run if we have five or more entries. Once this is confirmed and live in our entry system we will let you know!

The dust has now settled from yesterday's Kennedy Park Resort Rally Hawke's Bay.
A massive congratulations to rally winners Hayden Paddon and John Kennard, and also to Robbie and Amy Stokes in second and Raana Horan and Michael Connor in third.
Congratulations to all finishers and commiserations to those who didn't finish.

Another one with a long history. There’s only 19km left but it hasn’t changed in years. It’s still narrow, tight
and twisting and the drops? They’re still there! A good base. Some Competitors may experience sun strike.

We hope a lot of you managed to get down to the Ceremonial Start tonight. Tomorrow the cars leave Mitre 10 Napier from 6:30am, returning there from 4:30pm.
Stages are to the north of Napier, with a spectator point in stage 6, at the junction of Darky's Spur and Kaiwaka Road. Otherwise spectating is from starts or finishes of stages. If you are spectating, please listen to the marshals, don't walk through start or finish lines, and be safe.

Another old favourite. This stage has a long history, Starts fast, tightens with big drops then opens again. It
catches someone every year, so drivers beware. A challenge to get right!!

- This Saturday, you can check out the action from round four of the Brian Green Property Group New Zealand Rally Championship, the Kennedy Park Resort Rally Hawke's Bay. live thanks to Farmside Rural Broadband.

10:05am - We'll check in with teams after the opening two special stages as the arrive at the safety of service.

2:20pm - We'll be bringing the action live from the start of special stage five for approx 25 cars.

We are mid-week, on the run to an exciting weekend!
Today we preview stage 3, and give you an outline of where you can see the cars on Friday evening.

Stage 3:WAIHI (34.67kms)
Stage sponsor : Winmax Brake Pads

This stage starts from SH38, climbs for 20 kms then follows the ridge for 5 kms. The road then drops to the
river for 8 kms and then climbs again through the staircase for approx 1.3km before the finish. Good county
road, soft in places if wet. Weather permitting the good base will be retained.

Friday Evening: The rally cars will be on display from 4:30pm at the Soundshell in Napier. There will be autograph signing and a chance to get 'up close and personal' with both the competitors and the cars.
Cars will then be flagged off over a start ramp from 6pm.
