For those of you who don’t know, I’m on the path towards becoming a Developmental Psychologist, which involves child development.

I often browse new ideas related to children’s well-being, and I came across this idea on a website.

I believe that a new month is a new opportunity. To let go of the past month’s baggage, and to allow new thoughts, and habits.

Here’s a few reminders, for each of us to keep in mind:-
💌 You're allowed to prioritise yourself without feeling guilty about it.
💌 Do not be afraid of expressing your feelings and emotions. They are valid.
💌 Your worth is not defined by others' opinions of you.

Pets are essentially a cure for our brains continuous chaos.

They provide all sorts of benefits, regardless of our mental state! Playing with & taking care of your pet helps an individual relax & gives them purpose.

Here are some of the few ways in which spending time with your pets can be a form of self care✨

1. Can be serious mood lifters- They bring a smile to your face & this cvs be good for your stress levels & even your heart health!
2. Increases your physical activity- Sun & fresh both improve your mood! Walking your animals or playing any outdoor activity with them can be therapeutic
3. Studies have also found that pets give as much emotional support to their pet owners as their family members!
4. Prevent you from feeling lonely- Interacting with your pets is the best approach to alleviate feelings of loneliness! When we speak to them we always feel as if they’re listening to us.
