My wife, Noelle, is an outlier. She grew up in a trailer park in the little town of Rockford. Noelle is an only child to a single mom. Her biological father left and moved to California when she was 2 or 3. She did not come from a family with a large income. Her mother was often absent as well. David Bowman, age 82, has lived a long and wonderful life. David most recently has been living at Boulder Creek retirement home, but Grandpa loves his lakehouse on little Silver Lake in Rockford. David suffered from 2-3 strokes around July/August of 2018, shortly after our big 4th of July celebration at the lake. He has only been able to visit his house infrequently, and he lost his ability to walk and use his left arm. [ 317 more words ]
