Welcome to Lilleybellebijoux! I am an independent antique jewellery dealer with over 30 years experi
Who else is loving all the fabulous athletes, opening ceremony, and people watching of the 🥇This fabulous medallion is an ORIGINAL victorian electroform of the winners medals from the 1896 Athens Olympics. I've not been able to find out how many of these were made but they seem to be pretty darn rare and one in the Victoria and Albert Museum, London!!!! It's being listed in the next hour in case you want to elevate your sporty badass neck game this summer!
When your flight to Jersey is delayed so you make the most of lighting 😂. It's been a very long time since I enjoyed all my jewels and so this morning I threw a whole load on ☺️.
I always keep an eye out for these juicy plump antique 22ct weddings bands that the Victorians made so beautifully. Nowadays wedding bands are mostly cast en masse, but these stunners were handmade and carefully stamped with the most gorgeous deep set hallmarks. This particular example is and almost donut like it's so weighty. They're getting harder and harder to find as they're often melted down as gold prices go up so she is a rare survivor. Coming to the shop soon in all her buttery chonky stacking band magnificence!
Making my way home from sunny Madrid and I'm enjoying the purchases from the fabulous which will be available soon!
1. Modernist 1970s silver statement collar necklace by
2. Heavy weight 1970s silver anchor and ships wheel bracelet
3. Victorian wide cigar band silver ring
A last Vino Tinto Con Limon before I head home tomorrow. Madrid you were charming and I'll definitely be back!!!!
Oh my gosh. Landed last night and have spent all day pottering about the sun kissed streets of Madrid. Churros and chocolate. Jambon sandwiches. Cafe con leche. I might just have to move to Spain!
One of the pleasures of being back home is reacquainting myself with my ❤️ It's like greeting old friends ☺️
Travelling in style with my vintage 1970s bag and key chain ...both found in a random hidden backstreet vintage shop here in ❤️. Great match for my current favourite ring and .and leggings which are now my go to travel set!!!!
I stumbled across in my walk about Tokyo today and they make the most adorable hand printed book covers!!! They were a delight to chat to and such gorgeous designs. Thank you so much for the free notebooks with my purchases...they will be much loved.
It's not precious metal but there was no way I was passing up this fierce lion medal here in Tokyo 🤣. Needs a bit more research but believe it might have been given out as a prize in a newspaper competition by the Umi Newspaper Company. Isn't it such a glorious design!!! 🦁
When you're pottering around a vintage market in Tokyo the last thing you expect to find is three 🇺🇲 14k gold charms hanging from a costume jewellery chain 🤣 Also I've only over seen these key charms with 'I❤️you' on them never a town / state....so cute!
When you find the most chic gold ball hoop earrings! Perfect new addition to my collection! And also a moment of appreciation for my lawn cotton shirt found in a vintage shop here in Mount Gambier that's going to be coming home with me! 💙 ❤️
I found these stunning artist made metal earrings in a local vintage store....they're not silver but I was so taken with the beautiful patination work that looks like a peacock feather that I knew I had to have them 🦚. So I headed to the fabulous here in for a quick swap of the hooks to silver ones. Perfect little birthday treat to myself!!!
What a beautiful start to my birthday! Cards and little surprises even when I'm half way around the world 💓
Even in the wilds of Southern Australia I'm having fun pottering about and finding little treasures like this stellar 1920s Egyptian Revival silver bracelet with faience scarabs! 🪲 After the discovery of tomb in 1922 there was an explosion in all things Egyptian and this would have graced the wrist of a most on trend lady!
Big shout out to Sam and the lovely team for the fabulous service and warm welcome to ☕. This is a beautiful spot to come and chill while working on some sabbatical thoughts and I can highly recommend the great coffee and toasted sandwiches!!!
Well this is just lovely! and I plan on making the most of this view over the next three days!!!
So it's been a huge overwhelming week peeps. I finished up my job of five years here in , and had three fairly brutal biopsies, but throughout it all I've had the love and support of my wonderful family, friends, and colleagues.
Thank you for my and for my powerful jewels to help remind me that women the world over are and can do ❤️💪.
And now I get to enjoy an upgrade on my flight to 🏝️ courtesy of my bestie .... Brace yourself for obnoxious beach pics my loves!!!
When you FINALLY finish all the cleaning and handover to your replacement it's only civilized to leave them a little 'Welcome to Your New Home' gift.....British style obvs. So included was PG Tips and essentials for a gin and tonic with fresh ice in the freezer! ☕ 🍸
A few more snaps from my first ever cruise.....a mini trip to the Bahamas. I adored seeing the piratical graffiti at and the in and the ship was amazing!
I promise not to turn into an obnoxious travel blogger 🧳 on my upcoming sabbatical but no jewels to be found on this brief hop!!! Next stop Hawaii in couple of weeks time 🍹.
I've been a little quiet here in the last few weeks as I wind down from my Washington DC life and pack all my worldly belongings for the upcoming transatlantic move 🥺. But I just squeezed in my first ever mini cruise with a quick stop in the Bahamas!!! 🍹
More to follow but I'm slowly gathering together a more minimalist wardrobe (with maximalist accessories obvs) for my upcoming sabbatical and this was my first trial run of .and clothing.
Super impressed with the cute reversible dress which totally worked well for 🏖️ and 🍽️ aboard so I think it's going to be perfect on my adventures!!!! Accented with some travel jewels and the cutest
Bracelet I got from - I gifted one to each of my travel girlies on this trip!!!
Remembering all those who served and are still serving. Lest we forget.
I’ve been very good on not buying clothes for over a year now. I have far too many and this weekend will be clearing out lots that don’t fit. But I couldn’t resist this vintage 1980s dress that’s covered in ancient style 💎 🗿and 💰So fun and going to be perfect to wear to my next antiques market!!!
Thank you for the great start to the morning. Coffee and Kolaches with some donut holes for later 😊
The thanksgiving memorial service today for HM Queen Elizabeth II was a truly lovely affair. I was honored to get an invite and it was heart warming to see so many Brits, Americans, and other nationalities fill the cathedral to remember a life given in service of others. Whatever you think of the royalty as institution, Her reign was remarkable - 70 years dedicated to her country, the commonwealth, and friends around the world. As the Bishop said today, we are not here on the planet simply to consume oxygen but to give to others and 💗
Rest In Peace ma’am. An emotional end to a life lived in service.
Rest In Peace ma’am
If you didn’t spot my stories, some new goodies hit the shop today and it’s a really diverse mix. From modernist 1980s agate earrings, to Art Deco paste bangle, and a stunning Victorian turquoise rose cut diamond halo ring of dreams!!! Hurry on over to check them out (link in bio)
Ok babes. I know we’re all supposed to be doing reels now but I couldn’t help but share this beauty. A STUNNING original Victorian Vauxhall red glass necklace. My heart skipped several beats when I spotted this in Chicago ♥️. She’s dangerously glamorous with three delicately tapering waterfall drops caressing the décolletage. Such beautiful condition and rare being a Victorian piece in this elegant high drama style rather than the later Art Deco geometric collarettes. And can you believe it but this is - she just *glows* 🚨 I’m just doing a bit more research and then I’ll be listing her soon but isn’t she swoon worthy!!!!!
I don’t normally buy clip on earrings but I literally couldn’t resist buying this entire suite. This stunning Arts and Crafts ring, brooch, and earrings is an early set by the renowned Danish silversmith Nils Erik From. This set dates to around the 1930/40s with its scrolling leaves and flowers surrounding central domes of polished silver. I spotted them being sold separately across several cabinets of a jewellery dealer in Chicago and couldn’t bear the thought of them being separated for life so bought the lot. Coming soon to my website but DM if you can’t wait!!!!
